1-2 defeat today, but always good for a BTTS bet. You’ve woken up on the wrong side of the bed today 😂

Even comparing DC to mark McGhee is crazier than McGhee putting Parkes on the wing Six months ago I would have agreed. I've always been a firm supporter of DC but I'm not so sure anymore. Hopefully he'll pull a few rabbits out of the hat but I'm not confident. Do you really think anyone could do better? He’s earned himself as much time as he wants to recover from bad form personally. Yeah we’ve started bad but it’s been 2 league games. Even if we were fighting relegation (I don’t think we will) I would still keep him to try and rectify it

I'm glad we're playing 2 up top. It's the lack of width that confuses me. Leads was brilliant on Tuesday, not sure why he's been dropped? It's sadly becoming a familiar pattern of bizarre decisions. Mark McGhee springs to mind. Even comparing DC to mark McGhee is crazier than McGhee putting Parkes on the wing

Got better as the half went on. Most of the good attacks going through Rodman. Centre midfield is a bit slow, Upson doesn't turn fast enough to get it out of his feet. Defence still looks shaky when Accrington break. James Clarke and especially Craig go long too often too soon. All the defence go long too often. Tbf at least Upson calls for the ball, stil haven’t seen Ollie want the ball. Might as well be playing 1 in the middle of the Park

3 Centre Backs. Rodman & J Clarke full backs? Id say back four of Clarke right back, two Toms in the middle and Craig left back

Just seen the front properly. Worse kit since the carrier bag. One of the best we’ve had in years!

Told at the game yesterday that he sent a video of himself to DC with a view to a trial. Will find out, but however he got here, we do have a gem of a player. Yes he did, pretty sure he said it in one of his first interviews.

Lee brown literally does none of the things you’ve mentioned at the end of your post. Never tackles, bottles 50-50’s, always stays on the halfway line, never closes down players and lets every winger he marks cross. Maybe you should have a look at the player ratings stats. You will find that Lee Brown is Mr Dependable. Rarely outstanding, but never poor. There are more important positions to worry about in the squad than left back. Bola is ok but doesn't look any better than LB so why bother? True, it’s all about opinions and many are that he is Mr Dependable, my own opinion is that he doesn’t do enough as a left back. He hides from games so he doesn’t catch the eye with both good or bad moments. That’s why for me he gets his name Mr dependable becuase people don’t really remember many things he does. Of course I could just have it in for him haha. EDIT: anyone that’s good with the stats, how many have we conceded with Brown in the team compared to Bola. I’m not saying it’s less or more, just interested tbf!

Could well be part of the loan agreement, I think it’s more likely that Browns just not doing something right, as other posters have rightly said DC see’s them on a daily basis so there’s something he’s seeing that im not Surely we can all agree that they've both been poor this season ? People go on about Bola looks good going forward (can't remember one assist from him) and that he has potential, blah, blah blah. But he's been playing as a fullback so he needs to be primarily a good defender. So what's his defending like ? tackling and a desire to win a 50 - 50, tracking back, closing players down, cutting out crosses ? I think he's been pretty miserable at all those. Lee brown literally does none of the things you’ve mentioned at the end of your post. Never tackles, bottles 50-50’s, always stays on the halfway line, never closes down players and lets every winger he marks cross.

He won four player of the season awards at Yeovil. I would certainly back the people of Yeovil's opinion over our manager. Maybe when DC finally leaves we should appoint the people of Yeovil as the next manager. Not sure they'd all fit in the dugout, to be fair. Yeah they would

However there could be dedicated bus shuttles from Kingswood, Staple Hill Gloucester Rd on a Saturday afternoon and there would still be no stadium. There is no money you see. I think you repeatedly saying there is no money at every opportunity is getting quite boring now? Whenever anyone says anything about rovers spending money, don’t worry I’ll remember your comment I promise! 😂 UTG

I'd go with: Slocombe Partington Lockyer Sweeney Bola Sercombe O.Clarke Lines Bodin Harrison Telford 1-1 Have you watched Saturday's goals again? Not only did Parts fail to cut out the cross but showed no real desire to make any attempt to try and block the shot at goal, either he's injured or not that interested. He's been one of our best players this season? One dodgy half and that's it? Shouldn't play anymore?

I guess from this Bodin can do no wrong and Harrison no right? I wouldn't have been shocked if Bodin was taken off, he was poor Saturday and again tonight, may need a kick up the arse! I wouldn't even be shocked to see him benched Saturday, but we all know he'll play! Harrison was everywhere tonight, looked strong, winning headers, pressing high, basically everything Gaffney gets praise for, he's only fault was finding the net, but he should have actually stayed on the pitch tonight! I agree. Lines and Gaffney were the right two players to come on, but Clarke and Harrison were the wrong two players to come off. I`d have taken off the lightweight Nichols, who offered us nothing in attack. And I`d have subbed Sercombe, who was poor against Walsall, and worse last night. crazy how 1 game can offer such different opinions! I though the 2 players taken off were correct and were the 2 struggling the most! Thought sercombe was okay tbf and at least tried to run with the ball.

Just watch in the build up to the cross to see gaffney participation I think this is taking being pro Ellis/Anti Gaffers a bit too far TBH!!! And he has a go at people singling out Elis!

Makes me laugh how everyone is raving about partington on the strength of what? 2 good games? When you get well beaten the best players always seem to be the ones that didnt play in the beating. He has defended assuredly with calmness and 5 assists in 4 games might also have something to do with the praise he's receiving. True, I agree with you but before them 4 games 9/10 people were saying what a waste/pointless transfer. It's so extreme here

A bit of a cock up allowing Jadon Sancho to leave Man City for Dortmund. The boy has incredible talent and was named the best player at the 2017 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. The most promising English youngster we have at the moment. The good thing is Dortmund won't be afraid to play him, even though he's 17, and I can see him getting game this season, he's that good. I just hope he doesn't peak too early or burn out like so many have before him. The fact he's not gonna be playing in England will only help him. Being away from this media is always a good thing

wow, first time I've seen the goals. I know it's only Wyc, with changes, but some crackers in there. telford's first was BB-esque, and all started by an enormous header from parts. Love Ryan Broom scoring his first goal in senior football and the first thing he does his sort out his hair! great little ball from gaffers to set up telford who passes for broom's second We certainly like these long accurate balls don't we. if anyone says we're a long ball team, tell 'em we're a long pass team - there is a difference Wyc did look shocking though - telford outjumps / out manoeuvres a defender a foot taller than him for his 2nd I didn't notice it was Parts with that header, that's 3 assists that game then!

Split second after ball played Ellis half a yard onside <img src="https://image.ibb.co/eKHbp5/screen_shot_2.jpg" alt="screen shot 2" border="0" /> Ive added the lines in PS so you can see think this settles the argument IMO That's hilarious. It doesn't settle anything coz the lines you draw are supposed to be parallel to the lines on the pitch. Look at the grass-mower lines. Should be more like this: But then you should draw the line from the defenders head as that's his closest part of his body towards goal
