Are we the only club who hasn't announced both kits? The season starts in 6 hours and we as fans have no idea what our away kit is??? Peterborough haven’t announced their away kit either

Nobody is slagging the lad off. Every single person on this forum hopes he has a fantastic season and scores 20+ goals. It's just that in 25 appearances for a free scoring Barnsley side that create lots of chances he managed just 2 goals and the fans on their forum don't seem to rate him or think he'll score goals in L1. Even the optimists and rose tinters must surely understand why a lot of fans are a little underwhelmed. He might turn out to be a good signing but there's nothing in his record to date to suggest that's too likely. He scored 4

All of those 25, 90minute appearances? He’s clearly a young man whose been restricted with opportunities. Only 2 starts

Barnsley fans seem to rate him actually, good poacher it seems. seems like he couldn’t poach a egg,2 in 25 in a promotion team? He scored 4

A Walsall fan I spoke to who didn't rate him and I asked why he has so many assists and apparently the reason is he took every free kick and corner? Must mean his deliveries from set pieces are good, as we usually only have 1 or 2 through the season taking corners and free kicks and they don’t end up with 17 assists in 2 seasons

Blimey, Walsall fans talking about this guy like we did to Tranny fans with Payne True, but Payne also had terrible stats which backed up our claims. Our new signing has stats to prove he can be pretty good, the fact that they got relegated I feel has had an affect on their thoughts as a year ago they couldn’t get enough of him.

Goughlan has done a great job no doubt about it. From 4 points adrift from safety in December to 5 points clear in April is a great turn around. And it’s not like there were massive changes, a couple sent out on loan and a couple bought in. Obviously one of those has made a massive difference. JCH. Can’t help but think there’s been a fair amount of luck involved too mind. Clarke Harris hasnt Averaged anything like the goals to games ratio anywhere else that he has for us and if he’d gone to form on his career so far we’d almost certainly be in the bottom four, perhaps even bottom of the division now To be honest I’ve got to say if we lose Harris in the summer then this squad without him would seriously struggle next season unless we find another gem. We have got some decent players but losing your top striker when your a club like us ,without direction in a crappy ground and a manager who heart on sleeve , well it’s whsts always happened and we all know how it ends. Thing is when your paying peanuts sooner or later your luck will run out regarding finding top players on the cheap and you’ll go down. At least we’re 95% safe now The problems won’t go away once we’re safe we’ll just have the relief we’ve stayed stayed up. It could be luck, it good be great man management? I’m giving cogs the benefit of the doubt

I was there today. First 60 mins were v poor. GC got the shape, tactics and team selection wrong. Dons were no great shakes and had GC made changes at HT (or before), moved to a flat back four and brought Rodders on sooner, then we could have pushed on for three points. We needed width and midfield bite. My fear is with GC manager next season, we will be in a similar struggle to this season. He should only have been made interim manager with a decent bonus for keeping us up. We are at least five players (and a decent manager) short of having a squad that can challenge for the playoffs. GC's taken a team looking odds on for relegation and turned them into a top 8/10 team on current form, what other "decent manager" would have done a better job? Apart from Wycombe I don't think we've even lost to a team outside of the top 6 under GC, which is an amazing achievement after we were losing virtually every away game under DC. Exactly, cogs keeps getting a hard time even though when appointed I don’t think many had us for staying up! He keeps saying it’s horses for courses and he wants to play better football next season. Give the bloke a chance!

Wasn’t at Coventry so cant comment on performance but the stick UPson has taken on here seems a bit unfair. Yes he isn’t the most creative but he never has been and I presume we signed him to be our defensive midfielder. The problem has been all our other midfielders have been non creative and Sercombe hasn’t turned up for the whole season and Lines isn’t picked. Put Upson into a better balanced midfield and I reckon he’d get less criticism. Without some creativity we will struggle against Bradford and Rochdale so whilst I think we will just about survive I’m not confident about beating those two, even at home. I’m hoping that we don’t lose those and drop behind them. Still squeaky bum time! UTG! For me, Upson isn’t good enough on the ball or quick enough to get around. It seemed that every time he got the ball yesterday, he had four or five more touches than necessary before having it pinched off him. For me he has these touches because he’s one of the few players who had the balls to try and control a football and find a pass instead of smashing it first time out of play like most of the team. Yes this will mean he loses it sometimes but you need people, especially in midfield to try and control the game and play to your own pace.

Where to begin with locks. He’s too short to be a proper center back, (he wins f**k all in the air unless he under no pressure and has both feet on the floor) He too weak physically. Has no pace. Obviously lost in translation with picking out a pass and clearing your lines. Everything is just lumping the ball where ever. Not a shouter. Need a leader with a voice.. Bottom line he is everything Steve Elliot is not. I’m sorry but i disagree. He wins the majority of ball in the air!! He’s had big strong CF’s in his pocket (like Hawkins for Pompey who got dragged off at ht). He doesn’t need pace as his reading of the game is second to none. Agreed about his on the ball stuff. And shouting and being loud on a football pitch doesn’t make a leader. He will also put his body on line at any chance he gets!

I remember some clown started a thread about payne after his first game for us. Others chipped in with comments about how much better he was than ellis etc. Lets hope clarke-harris is a good player for rovers but maybe wait a bit longer to get a better idea of his ability and character. Same with Agogo, first game he’s the missing link we’ve needed for years in our midfield, next game he’s terrible and should never have signed him

Streets ahead of Lines yesterday. I’m pretty sure bonham had more touches than lines, and my Nan made more tackles than him. Blokes a bottler

We can blame the ref as much as we like, and he has been terrible, but bottom line is we have appointed a manager who whilst he is passionate and engaging, has one tactic and one tactic alone. Get the ball and whack it as high and as far forward as we can. Then hope the little fella gets on the end of it. Clueless. I'm generally an optimist about Rovers but sorry, this is pathetic. We’ve been terrible but does that mean playing well against Southend wasn’t GC’s tactic?

I can never get it from my iPhone to the tv? It won’t let me watch I follow on safari so I use the rovers app which then won’t let me transferr to my tv screen, any suggestions?

Full time - Jakubiak shooting straight at the keeper late on Disappointing, it’s 24 feet wide. Zero awareness / composure Tbf he’d been on the pitch 15 seconds

Such a inept performance today, really don't know where we go from here, i suppose just wait for the winter transfer market and hope to get some loan players to dig us out of this mess, Btw all those who gave Leadbitter 1 out of 10 last week, i will be interested to see how you mark Nichols this week? I agree with everything but why do you single out Nichols? Everyone of them was sh** today! Why not Reilly who came on and did as much as Nichols when on? Or lines for doing nothing for 90 mins?
