The amateur league played on sat and sun is interesting. How many people play on a saturday who would like to go to a match? Maybe our leader and lansdowne should get there heads together and try to get it changed to a sunday? This is several 1000 people playing on a saturday with a football interest Isn't Sunday football dying on it's arse? I looked at the local leagues in the BEP yesterday and counted 6 divisions between the Regional & Sunday leagues, back when I was playing you had more than that in each league on it's own.

How can you have been to a "few" haven't we only ever have shown the Hartlepool & Cambridge games in recent times? Given Wael's now running the show hopefully he can get in bigger screens? As far as commentary can't we do a deal with R Bristol and board cast their match commentary, if not, personally I'd sooner listen at home on the Gasplayer. I think MM is talking about the televised games that have been shown in the Clubhouse, i watched Lincoln (playoffs), Wimbledon and last season Forest Green (playoff semi) in the Clubhouse. Essentially the place gets packed and the club make a few quid out of it. We watched the Cambridge game in one of the boxes, decent meal and a few pints with good company. The lack of commentary isn't the end of the world as you dont get one at the game anyway (unless you count inane comments from people round you). COYB Also had Macclesfield in the Clubhouse last year.

But you seem to be making allegations that something untoward has taken place by the previous BoD before the sale, you can still be sued for liable regardless of whether your a club employee or not. I personally feel we should just move on and support the new BoD not keep trying to dig up dirt on the old BoD, after all without them we wouldn't have the new owners. If the new owners want to dish the dirt in the future then that's their prerogative. Not correct.
I will be asking questions at the AGM to ascertain if others have made money out of BRFC recently, nowhere have I said anything is untoward.
Are you happy that an ex Director appears to be making a profit of over £100k over a transaction involving his "beloved" team?
You're changing your tune in your opening post you were saying it was £250k he was making. Which figure is it going to be next?

I know for a fact that some members of this forum are reporting back to a certain individual, still in a position of some authority, on what is being said on social media and he has "questioned" some people on what has been said. Hopefully, all those from the old regime, will shortly have no influence on BRFC and I and a few others will feel a lot more comfortable on what info is released on what was going on. I believe that this is a start of a new era and some of the practices that went on previously will be consigned to history. The paranoia still exists then? Seems so but why Severncider needs to be paranoid is beyond but it's beyond me why anyone thinks someone would need reports on the contents of a public forum ....

After careful & due consideration and not being a shareholder I have resolved to neither vote for or against this resolution. However I'm still undecided on all the other resolutions.

Since we are such a free scoring team lately I think it's gonna be 8-0 at least, can't wait! I'm presuming that Hartlepool will crumble under our unerring, deadly corner routines?

I've bought footie stuff from QPR, Spurs and Villa over the years for Xmas/ birthday presents and still receive emails without fail on a Friday afternoon. Never receive one from Rovers! i think the new owner needs to don a blue & white bar scarf (ala Mancini at Man City) - we can then all join him and wear similar! Will be happy to wave above head when three up in Madrid!!! Surely it will just be naff quality and fallen apart by then?

I don't think it's true. Sure, they could be interest but he could sign a pre-contract now with them. Furthermore, why wouldn't he keep his options open. You can become very forgotten in Scotland. In my opinion, it's agent talk. Trying to get a bumper. Seems odd this is resurfacing after Fridays takeover. Someone tell Taylor- score 25 goals this season and he'll have better deals on the table. Your right I'm sure as soon as he moves north to sweatyland Woy will cross him off his list for the Euros this summer

Istm a proper training facility would require two full size pitches bare minimum, and there's just about enough room to fit those in, and nothing else at all. eh? There's a massive car park that used to have 3 rugger pitches on it. Plus you could knock down the centenary stand. Think the 22s were probably in someone's front garden.

Presume then that the Supporters Club retain an 8% stake in the club?

WHERE THE F**K IS @gasheadgaz ?! He's missing the biggest day in Rovers history!!! For such a well-known believer of the rumours I'd have thought he'd have been loving today? He used up his only remaining day off on Monday waiting to hear news of a takeover he didn't believe in

Can you image it if the original Consortium break cover within the next few days and we have two consortium fighting to takeover/invest in a "small forth division club". OTIB will go into meltdown. The thought of that........................... Well if we've signed terms with Jordan then there is nothing for the other consortium to fight over. Well Yeovil are available.

I can see Watola going as these guys are financial services types and he will be found out. Their connections may also help the commercial side. I wouldn't worry about Tony, I'm sure he's on a fantastic wage with a watertight contract & will get a good pay off for retirement.

I presume come the end of season that we will have to ban all talk of transfer targets unless we can get a sworn statement from the concerned players agent that he is the source? Probably just be easier to suspend the forum through the close season. Can you reveal your source please? Dinsdale

Thanks for clearing the stadium company question. Well it seems that we will be paying rent to msp next season and a large % of match day income no doubt. 100 years from now we may have finally paid back the 2.7 million loan plus 15 million interest. Great investment by msp, they must have been weeing themselves when Nick ant Toni were explaining how they were going to take on ftse 100 company shamesburys in a legal mismatch. All doom and gloom unless someone is willing to come in, clear 10 million debt, spend 30 million on uwe and a fair few million on players in order to get up to the championship and become sustainable. One question left, my boy was born in Salisbury and his closest league team to us in Southampton. He's only been to rovers twice and is to young to show much interest. So, should I take him there to save him and his off spring from the endless mismanagement and false promises served up by Bristol rovers! Why would we be paying rent to MSP? I guess you are another person who have ever many times it is explained have no idea what a charge is and how it works. Sad indictment of financial education in this country.

Interestingly when big things happen such as the first announcement of UWE no one knew anything about it and rightly so. It appears to me that big rumours are never realities and big realities are never rumoured. The problem here mate is a soddin few did post about UWE on the OF weeks/months before it was announced and one of the buggers started all this bleedin takeover crap! And a current director was happily telling people the Mem redevolopment was finished & would be replaced by a bigger project round by Stoke Gifford quite a while before anything was confirmed.

OK, thanks to Garystash for uploading this page:-
AGM Resolutions
Now if you go to resolution 8 my questions are:-
1 - Are we agreeing to pay Edward Ware £520k PLUS £125k he has already been paid or is it the down payment of £125k and then the balance up to £520k? 2 - If you ask Zoopla for a value of this property, need to supply the full postcode and house number, it suggests that the current market value is £400k
Now, I accept that the £520k will include legal fees incurred, Stamp Duty AND that Edward Ware may have had to pay over the odds to rectify a problem we have created, but we need to know if EW is making a profit on the £520k price yet alone if he is being paid £645k.
I also accept that the owner of the said property must have realised he was siting on a valuable asset and may have increased the sale price accordingly.
As far as I am concerned, if EW is seen to be making a profit out of BRFC and I HAVE NO EVIDENCE OF THAT, I will be objecting to his re-election too the Board.
So many questions. Severncider you could have given me some credit for pointing you to Zoopla? If you look at property values around 31 Filton Ave nothing is selling for the price we're being expected to pay, is EW holding the club to ransom or is NH paying over the usual asking prices as a reward for standing by him? Given we're already circa £10m in debt why are spending another £525K on a property, probably worth circa £400K, and how are we going to actually fund the purchase, a bigger Wonga loan? I'm reading the payment of £525K includes the £125K down payment not in addition, but could be wrong? Does seeking permission to buy 31 suggest the Mem is being sold/development is going ahead regardless of the Appeal outcome, if so who's lined up to buy the ground? Read the resolution it's an OPTION. Undoubtedly to complete the contract with Sainsbury's we will have to own this property or show we have a legal agreement to buy it, we would look incredibly (or perhaps more) stupid if we win the appeal & then can't complete because we can't meet another contract condition. As to paying for it we either lose the appeal and don't need it so Ed W will get to keep it, that's how an Option works, or we will be in line to receive £30m or so which should cover things.
