It’s all irrelevant play decent football that people want to watch not that dire display on Saturday crowds will improve simple This is true. It`s all well and good to set yourself up away from home, by picking your most defensively minded players to stifle the opposition, and try to nick a winning goal, but to do it at home is unacceptable. If Saturday`s game was entertainment, then I`m Taylor Swift.

Wasn’t there today so can’t comment on the match. But why’s everyone moaning? Best start for three years we have a point after two matches! 😉 UTG! One thing I noticed more than ever though was the people moaning about absolutely everything before a ball had even been kicked. No wonder the atmosphere was flat. If Rovers make you that miserable, why put yourself through it?! People won`t. Half a dozen games like that, and attendances will be down to the diehards who bought season tickets a couple of months ago. Nobody will pay on the day to watch that dross.

As I recall, the Concorde cinema at the entrance used to show Swedish films. Was there a choice of entrances?

No still drawing. Pretty even game so far. Nichols missed a good early chance, when clean through with no one to beat.

Do we have a fire officer, we may need him today Pumps required HG? Seriously, monsoon conditions here yesterday between the odd bright spell. Been battering down all night, any better in Bristol? Not raining here at the moment, ( 200 yards from the ground ). And the sun is making sporadic appearences through the clouds.

If you feel like you can’t be bothered, are not looking forward to it, are disappointed at our signings, feel negative and down right cynical then maybe think twice about attending! We need a positive, excited and loud atmosphere tomorrow! Let’s start at home with a bang and shout the lads on to three points! You can moan, be quiet and be negative afterwards! I’ve been looking forward to tomorrow like many others, so don’t ruin our days with a drab atmosphere! The players are more than capable of doing that themselves! 😜 UTG 💙⚽️💙 Your last sentence explains why so many fans feel like your first sentence.

“Unless I can get favours, unless people are willing to do me a turn we might have to move one or two out and make adjustments here, there and everywhere to try and get what we want. GC's starting to sound a bit desperate. GC needs to step away from interviews because you’re right Topper he is sounding desperate and he knows he will be letting a few out on loan anyway so why make it sound like he doesn’t want to. One game in and I’m bored with it all already ... blimey where has the love gone? I was bored with it all, before the first game. I`ve renewed my season ticket, and will be at all the home games. But am I looking forward to it? No more than I`m looking forward to the next nine months at work.

What do people think of the scums decision to not kick ball out for injured players this season? typical underhand tactics from the 6 fingered, sister molestering halfwits Good for them. All teams should do it - let the ref decide when play should stop. 90% of the time the player isn't injured and is trying to disrupt play. Hope we follow their example. Everybody should.

Can not see the league giving the other two clubs three points at this stage of the season. The Brentford/Bolton situation was at the end of the season and the points awarded to Brentford did not penalise other clubs. What would heve happened, if Bolton had been due to play a club that were involved in promotion or relegation issues? The ramifications would have rumbled on all summer. The EFL were extremely lucky.

Stay up or go down? Are those the only 2 options? With our current squad, we won't be going neither up nor down. GC has built what I feel is a solid but unspectacular L1 squad. Unless we bring in someone who is a bit more creative in midfield and probably an out and out winger then we aren't going to be playing brilliant football but we have enough quality as it is to get lower mid-table. Staying up then.

I'm sure these articles are written by clickbait software and tidied up by a real person. No-one in their right mind would have us as outsiders for promotion. I think we'll be lucky to finish as high as last season. I know it's early days, but the quality of the squad has plummeted in the last three years, imo. Not much doubt about it. The team that won us promotion from Leage 2, would put the current side to the sword, in my opinion.

Yeah I think it sums it all up pretty well. They probably had good intentions but unfortunately far right groups have a habit of latching onto things that aren't strictly their remit but might have people within it that sympathise with them. Far-right extremism is, in my opinion, by far the scariest minority group in the UK right now, not least because a large number of people might agree with parts of their ideology and share it around on social media etc. Agree absolutely. When I go up to london, I`m not at all worried that some suicide bomber will choose my railway carriage, to prove how peaceful his religion is. No. I`m far more concerned that some bloke will sit down next to me, and start telling me that he christened his daughter, Treblinka.

It's funny mate. I had forgotten about Cream, until my son told me he had started listening to them!! I`d forgotten I`d seen Alice Cooper, until Meadgas mentioned the Empire Pool, Wembley. Saw him there, on his "Welcome to my nightmare" tour.

I`ve been watching the womens` basketball world cup, and quite frankly I haven`t been impressed by what I`ve seen. Having caught the ball, the women are too unfit to run with it. What a shocking indictment of today`s youth.
Don`t tell me, this country`s heading in the right direction.

In 2016, the Democrats ran just about the only person in the US, who could have lost to Trump. The candidates this time are not so polarising, but hardly inspiring. Unless he brings himself down, I can see four more years of this.

You`ve only got to look at their different actions, to see why one is always injured. Wood charges in, like Best Mate thundering up the hill at Cheltenham. Archer doesn`t have a long run up, and it`s so smooth and fluid. Hopefully, he won`t be beset by the problems that so many fast bowlers face.
Yes, it’s not hard to see why Wood suffers with ankle problems, the strain on his body must be intense. It looks like Archer gets his power and speed from his arms and shoulder. As you say quite different. Looking at fast bowlers generally for England Archer has given them more options and Broad and Anderson have to be carefully managed now imo. Not sure about others about at the moment. I’m probably biased watching so much of Somerset but last week against Notts Jamie Overton who is prone to strains and injuries bowled the fastest I’ve seen any bowler for a few years. The Notts batsmen were hopping about all over the place and were seriously worried by his pace. Kyle Abbott is the best fast bowler I’ve seen on the circuit over the past 3 years but for a couple of spells last week Overton was faster and he’s now looks stronger and more resilient but Somerset has to manage his bowling which they do very well. Archer although he doesn’t have the run up does remind me of Michael Holding in his prime. Smooth, effortless and a bit of a whip in his delivery to deceive the batsmen. If only he could be as good. Whispering Death. He didn`t stint in his run up. His long run, used to start at the back of the members pavillion.
