Just tried to buy tickets for both games, nothing available on the club website. Am I missing something or have we already sold out ? Great news for the team if we have, bad news for me though. I believe the club are waiting for both FGR & Sunny to say how many tickets they are likely to need, as Rovers under F A rules have to allow 10% of the capacity to visiting teams. As Scunthorpe we’re relegated yesterday I am sure more tickets in the South stand will become available & I would think FGR will probably get whole of the South stand meaning tickets could then be available again like yesterday in the visiting east terrace. FGR are a village team and get about 117 at home plus a couple of dubious vegan Jack Russells away they usually muster a following of between 23 and 47 people depending on the weather they won’t like it at the Mem, the FGR players will meet an environment wholly alien to them and will wilt to a 2-0 defeat

Superb atmosphere at Vale today , we were unlucky with the bad start tbh but what a response and the perfect way to wrap up with the last min goal in front of the travelling masses, absolute pandemonium
Soaked up brief spells of pressure well and dominated possession again for the most part
This team are superbly fit, superbly coached and work their asses off for each other
And the harder you work the luckier you get right ?
Last three look very appetising to me

for a 9 year olds first go that aint bad
In America it would fly for sure
went to see Orlando vs New York once, Orlando's chants are sooooo cringe I was almost sick
"Orlando City - you are my best friend
and I will follow you until I am not able"
they have cheer "firms" (yes firms) with a drum and a cheerleader who spends the entire match with his back to the game leading chants such as the cringe classic above and others I've thankfully forgotten
Worth the entrance fee alone as a giggle spectacle
the football was complete shyte apart from Lampard, Kaka etc
EDIT: found the crap online its the Ruckus firms song.....
City, you are my best friend
and I will follow you until I am not able
I watch you playyyy away or home
and when you’re home I’ll smoke the Citrus Bowl
No me gusta bobo Rowdies, they dont even understand
Burn them and the other haters, I dont give a damn

we've sold 1600 so far, so with sales until thurs and with PoTD we should comfortably achieve 2000+ I would think

Maybe a roof in the away end if it's now for home fans next season? Which will def be a tent

Kieran Phillips continues good form for Swindon Supermarine yesterday
Took a great goal for the first in a 3-0 victory against in form Yate Town yesterday smashing into the side netting across the keeper , then set up the next two with a great pass down the channel and finally a left foot assist through the box onto the head of Henry Spaulding for his brace
Completed his day with MoM on twitter with 53% of the vote
14 goals from 24 games

You can’t get much better contract news than the signing of our Player of the Season! Fantastic stuff, hope he turns out to be one of those players who settles and stays with us a long time. Well done Belly, Richly deserved 💙 Fully agree player of the season that save from the volley at Sixfields last week kept us in the autos for 30 mins amd saved us two monumental points overall pivotal player in a crucial position great have this settled right now

Cobblers the most effective but boring football in the league , absolute dog Sh,t hoof ball Great finish that angle was very very tight, did see it go in but wasn’t tuned in to the match 30 secs in lol usual suspects arriving late Even their own fans say the same thing about Northampton, boring and hoofball. Thing is in this league you can play that way and still do well. When we went up in ‘16 Oxford and Northampton both played decent football as did we. But this time around the style we play is very attractive for league 2. You don’t see many Man City-style teams in League 2 perhaps Swindon (?) But we have played, since Christmas on the front foot and decent attacking football. UTG! yeh one Cobbler came on here end of last week saying their position was false, set plays only and we would win It's effective after a fashion but like JB said, not pretty to watch and you would not pay to see it. Probably why they never managed to crack a song out on Saturday, league position aside not a lot to sing about at Sixfields.....

Who would want to play us in the play offs let alone Wembley with 40k gas up there
Autos for me, I’ll take 3rd but I do believe the great FGR 2022 choke isn’t over yet….

Just back. We were lucky to win, but it was a very committed performance. Before the game, I like others was worried about set-pieces and in the first half, we were vulnerable - the towering header by the centre-half that hit the angle beteween bar and post deserved a goal. They pressed very strongly and we weren't able to work the ball through midfield. Coutts anf Finley were anonymous, Billy largely ineffective and, in the first half especially, Evans had one of his poorer games. Taylor anf Connelly were good against the long ball, but less good at marking at the set-pieces. To me Hoole had his poorest game for a while, but his winger was their danger player.Belshaw was a gain outstanding. We played better in the second half and they created little, if anything. Even then though, there was a shot that almost broke the crossbar. All in all the positives were the result, the team-spirit and the committment all the players showed. Onwards and upwards. Good summation ,can’t disagree with any of that however I would add that our travelling support was another positive, never let up for a second and gave Northampton a 90 min lesson in how to get behind your team if Belshaw doesn’t get player of the season I will eat my bobble hat

The fanzone really does add to the match day experience & seems to be getting more popular as fans are using it in bigger numbers. Good to see fans putting money in the clubs coffers rather than local businesses who contribute nothing to the club. Don’t know if it’s possible in future seasons but it would be beneficial if some sort of covered area could be added for when the weather takes a turn for the worse. surely not another tent ?

No 23 Liverpool will play no 46 Bristol Rovers Would be an amazing atmosphere with 15000 gas out singing the Kop Then you would have to wonder where the F they are the rest of the time... You always get a big uplift for this type of fixture all the mums n kids n cousins n neutrals etc trot out for the big day out No harm in that welcome distraction from the roller coaster of the league
