It is illegal, for starters. And this forum does not condone greedy people trying to rip off other Gasheads. Where does the poster state how much he wants for the ticket? The evidence he is trying to rip anyone off is where? Delete the thread then if that's what you think is happening. No need to blow it out of proportion, just delete it As you said, we have no evidence out in public - therefore I gave the poster a chance to say what price they were after publically. The lack of response suggests others are correct.

Please publish the price you're trying to sell for, or we will remove the thread. Why? If people ask and don't want to pay that price then they won't. If someone does then that's up to them. why should it bother anyone else? It is illegal, for starters. And this forum does not condone greedy people trying to rip off other Gasheads.

GasCast Episode 12 - The run in starts here!In this weeks episode Harley Thorne is joined by Doug Walker and Jake Barber, as we look back on what was an excellent weekend for The Gas. A win against Mansfield Town saw Rovers move up to 4th, and only 3 points behind 2nd and 3rd placed Oxford United and Plymouth Argyle. We also look forward to what is now an incredibly important final 10 games, where we hope to see Rovers pushing for one of those top 3 automatic promotion spots, starting at Newport County on Saturday. I tend to be given stickers for free by others at away games, wouldn't have thought it's a business opportunity haha It's not, at least not how I've done it, made a loss on each batch, but that's mainly because I use so many myself.. I know someone who's in cahoots with the city boys who do their stickers, think it's a much slicker operation, which is why they've got the sticker beef sewn up! Think they run a much bigger profit margin, but then put all profits in to buying city flags etc. Fair play to em, quite a few them I think are pretty good/inventive, just a shame they are city... also the less said about the spiderman/ Irene's a slag ones the better. Good; i don't really like the idea of profit being made from it; unless of course it goes into the club somehow eg. banners flags whatevs. Don't like the idea of someone seeing a 'gap in the market' and trying to make a profit, though.

Are you making these yourself or are you getting them from somewhere else and then selling at a profit?
It's a bit harsh to use the rovers crest to make profit and not give the cash to the club. Also probs illegal btw.
Sorry, i'm out.

I agree. I think he seems like a nice guy, he's clearly very professional, he also seemed to show some impressive loyalty to the club when we were relegated (although who knows what his options were) but in terms of footballing ability I think he's pretty average. Defensively I think he's actually below average and I'm always nervous whenever we play anyone with a right-sided player with a bit of pace. Not a popular opinion on this forum though. This. He could have left when we went down quite easily. He will be remembered fondly always because of this. On top of this, even if you remove the clouds of respect because he is loyal and the tint of familiarity you always have for a long term servant he is still the best left back we have had in living memory for some. If his contribution to the team is purely measured in a professional sense, he is still one of the first names on the team sheet. What I particularly enjoy when watching Lee Brown is he has the ability to out think opponents on the wings if he has another player who has a football brain with him. I have always seen Lee Browns one "fault" is he could have a little more pace for a wing player. When he is teamed up with a monkey type player then little triangles are formed and you always feel Lee is ahead of most l2 players in his mind and can always see the ball to play and the place to move in to. He doesn't skin full backs but gently prises his way to the dead ball line. Also, when he as Parkes around they can play their way out of trouble well, again both players knowing where to move to create routes out of danger. If he had a yard more pace he would be long gone at a championship club, but I am really pleased we have him. He's also in possession of a good winning attitude and has immense stamina to get up and down, and chips in with a few goals to boot. Can't speak highly enough of him. I completely agree - he's just that TINY bit too slow. Annoying really as like you say he would be outstanding if he had that little bit more. Still quality though, has a good footballing brain on him.

He has probably ruined his dream career as a manager by choosing the worst club and the worst time. or at least he's going to have to put some serious work in to turn this around to even look average.

Way too late to go back on the raffle now, there will (hopefully) have been a fair few entries. Can't just decide to call it off! Would make us look very bad to those that did enter. Let's start building that side of the club from this summer onward!

Think it's called 'moneyball'.... Believe DC will have the last say but inevitably stats will be given to him and genuine suggestions and options given. Can only be a good thing, been a pain in the ass seeing us miss out on obvious talents.

Have been hoping he'd get his chance soon as think he genuinely deserves a chance. Has been dropped as a result of an ever changing formation and never given a genuine chance. Give him a run of games and he'll prove himself - got a cracking cross on him, and links with Browner way better than Lawrence.
