Not for the first time, I'm gonna swim slightly against the stream here. Whilst I think if this gets to fruition (!) it'll be a remarkable piece in the club's jigsaw history and no doubt (if managed well) will boast a huge potential for the club, I will be sad to leave the Mem. It's as close to our heartland of Eastville and we are symbiant with the local community of businesses and residents alike. We are a true community club. Many walk to and from the Mem on matchday and we have established a home rather than abode not seen since 80s. I understand the ambition to improve, to sustain the club in a more Monday to Friday basis, but I fear we may lose something along the way that makes us unique and GasHead characteristic for something more sterile and bland. I understand what you are saying but maybe Bristol Rovers isn't about a bit of land...it's about the fans, the team, the club itself. Bristol doesn't have a huge amount of available land to build a football ground on so we should be grateful for anywhere. I'm not from Bristol so despite going to Eastville many times back in the 70's it makes no difference to me where the new ground is. As it is, the Fruit Market is far better for me to get the games. I just want it all to happen...in my lifetime! As a post script to this...it didn't stop Rovers being Rovers when they played in a different city (Bath) so moving to another part of Bristol shouldn't be a problem. We may even pick up some teds who want to watch a decent team for once!!

He was gutted on Saturday. He is Burton Albions Sports Scientist but an avid Gashead.

I assumed it was Rossiter but my son said it was Finley. I thought Finley was just on a 3 match ban. My lad must have been mistaken.

Belshaw is (in my opinion) a far better keeper than Balcombe is at the moment. Yes, Balcombe may grow into a better one but our crisis was for defenders and midfielders. We didn't need another keeper. This issue is the sole responsibility of Barton and totally unnecessary. Having said that, Balcombe was our keeper on Saturday and we should get behind him. It's got nothing to do with him about who is picked on the day. Yes, he made mistakes but worse ones were made by the defence and theirs resulted in the goals.

Problem is, again, we don't have the type of player for a relegation scrap. Sack the manager or not we've still got a bunch of kids. Talented yes, but very green around the Gills and very easily picked off by seasoned league 1 players. We are not dangerous from set pieces in the slightest, can't go direct, it's a bit of a mess to be honest. I think our only chance is to stick with what weve got and play like we did against Ipswich. That's the problem....all these players are Barton's players. No-one to blame but him. Out NOW!!

Belshaw has been one of the most consistent players this season. Yes, he made a couple of mistakes but has more than made up for it in the fantastic saves he does. Of course he is going to have an attitude problem with a manager who publicly slags him off then the first thing he does in the transfer market is get a loanee goalkeeper (when we desperately needed defenders!). But heaven forbid if we should start to criticise Lord Joey of Barton.

Maybe players didn't want to come to a club where they will get publicly slated if they have an off day or get played out of position and don't play as well as they could had they been played in the position they were brought into the club to do?

VAR is a great idea in principle but sadly the FA/FIFA have managed to make a right pigs ear of it. It should never take more than a few seconds to view. The rule (I always thought) was that it had to be a 'clear and obvious' foul/error etc. If it takes five minutes to view then it obviously isn't clear and obvious and therefore they should go with the refs original decision. Maybe using the cricket system of the Captain of either team getting 3 goes at questioning decisions and once all 3 have been used ..tough!

I would be happy with a change of badge (not really struck on the Pirate part of it) but the new options are very poor. The crossed swords is the only vaguely acceptable one...correction... the least unacceptable one. The others (since when were known as the Highwaymen?) are truly awful. I would love to have the word 'Gas' incorporated in the badge somewhere but if all they can come up with is the three on offer then it's a no brainer to keep the existing one.

Do we still use the word 'Pirates' when referring to us? Gas, yes, but I never think of us as the Pirates. Maybe it is time for a change but it will have to be a superb iconic design or we may just as well stick with what we have. Something incorporating the word 'Gas' - I don't think a Gasometer would be a good look though!!

I thought he had a decent game in the tin pot trophy. Coutts isn't up to speed yet and the others don't protect our back 4. Finley has twice now, not closed a shooting player down quick enough, costing us goals and points. Finley was nowhere near Weir when he scored, Gordon was marking him but moved to cover the second player at the corner leaving him unmarked, when he got the ball the first Rovers player to try and close him down was Evans, with Finley marking another player in the box. We were poorly organised at the corner as somebody should have been picking up the second player at the corner, which would have then left Gordon to continue to mark Weir. Surely the team must watch video's of the matches? We make the same mistakes on corners every game. The goal on Saturday was the same as the FGR corner in that the player had all the time in the world to pick his spot with nobody within yards of him. It would be interesting to see how many goals we have conceded from corners this season.

We all know refs make mistakes but you know it's bad when the BBC commentator - who obviously isn't a Rovers fan- was totally bemused by the decisions yesterday. It's like being back in the Conference league again. I thought that as we moved up the leagues the standard of refs would improve. This doesn't seem to be the case.

I wish we'd use our own stream. iFollow quality is extremely poor - it constantly freezes, the resolution isn't always great and refuses to allow 'full screen' a lot of the time. I have fibre optic broadband and I know it is easily good enough. I watch Somerset Cricket live on Youtube and the service is far superior to iFollow. If it helps, I find using Google Chrome as the open web browser makes a big difference and when using that I get no issues at all I normally use Chrome but I watch the match on my Firestick TV which uses it's own provider. Maybe that's the issue. Does anyone on here watch it on Firestick and if so what browser do you use?

Careful what you wish for - this is Rovers, we'd end up with somebody streaming it via a hand-held video camera! I thought that's what iFollow did anyway. On the Barnsley game they totally missed Loft's chance !

Read recently out of the 72 clubs in the Championship, L1 and L2 only 49 now use ifollow. The other 23 use their own streams I.e Plymouth, City etc. Wondering how that will affect those watching our games this season . My son's football team hired the Teds ground for a tournament. Regrettably I have to say it is very impressive. I'd be delighted if we got something even close to what they have (the stadium, not the team!!!)
