Whereabouts? I work 5 Mins from fruit Market, and the only space I can think of is by the bridge to nowhere, just to east of temple meads. All around that area is being redeveloped in a big way.

Is the squiggle by the players name their signature? It's part of the Mind logo and is included on the first letter of every EFL shirt. Ok ta.

This is brilliant. I was in a brief just last week and it was about the development of that exact area of land..... no stadium at all that I could see and the land appeared fully developed. I will check as the drawing I have is a bit vague in places.

Hugo will be Craig's biggest fan next season.... you watch... Which one of us spent all season bigging up a certain striker? Tom will come good.... honest! 😂😂

Charlton score four minutes into injury time. Sunderland for us again next season! I’m sure they have already won the league next season by 100 points. They will be promoted by October.

You mean the bars that were paid for by insurance money and a sponsor and the big screen that was paid for by a sponsor? I don't get how insurance money for the stand bars could pay for the clubhouse bars, if it did then where did the money come from to pay for the stand bars to be repaired? Plus what was the extra £350K ground costs actually spent on? Scoreboard wise I assume the sponsors would have been just as content to sponsor a stand etc. When we're losing £3m+ a year whilst playing in tent city do we really need a large TV. As Gasincider suggests someone needs to reign in Walter Mitty before BRFC1883 becomes BRFC2020 and we have to swap the Mem for sharing with the likes of the Mangos or Yate. The Scoreboard sponsor already sponsors the South Stand AND did the initial sponsorship of the Southwest stand for the half a season it went up.

Listening to the 3 of them, the bond they have had over the years they’ve been together is quite obvious and you can tell that Sincs and Lines would have happily given their all for another season. TL is probably right in that he needs a new challenge and I wish him well.
Really nice to hear that they all have fond memories and enjoyed their time with us.

We have a development squad but not an under 23's as far as I am aware? Same difference really. Most of the players that appear in the development squad are U23, apart from one or two in need of game time. Having said that, I've just spotted this section on the official site, has it always been there or recently added?: www.bristolrovers.co.uk/teams/u23-team/Pirate - they are looking for talent scouts at the club...
Just saying......

No, GT asked him specifically, based on what DC had been saying & he agreed, saying it will be cut - either in or over the next 12 months. No idea how to get a link, happy to be proved wrong, but I am 99% sure it was at that interview. Given we had 29 players when GC took over the club, if it's now reduced to 24 players that be a cut in budget but not necessarily quality. GC's comments about not expecting a good as season this one (where we finished 8th in his table) make you wonder what the aim is, just a mid table finish? Came across as classic, "give me some time to sort through the sh**. Slowly turn things around and then look to progress" expect an average season.... but who knows...

Fair play to GC. has firmly place balls on table. I don't think that anyone will be unsure of their position in the club come the end of May. Straight out the blocks and firing. Said an awful lot really. Simon I am relying on quotes here as didn’t listen. Was it a stick a tenner on Rovers to get promoted next season interview? No.

smaller squad = wage bill reduction
Looking to add 4 or 5
Tom Lockyer had decided to run his contract down and leave
Wants "honest Players" ones that will roll sleeve up etc.
looking for pace and power
taller CBs etc.
Did he say budget would be reduced?? I was told months ago we were having a smaller squad, as he wanted quantity over quality. Not listened to interview yet, wondered if he said it was being reduced?? Fair point.he did not say reduced wage bill. i was being a miserable git.
