bidefordgas, I am only answering somebody elses post suggesting we go for Matt Macey. I agree with you and hope upon hope that he doesnt want to come to us and/or we don't `want him. Like you say I agree he has not impressed on loan at either Plymouth and even more so Accrington. As regards Oztumer if we have any ambition then I hope we at least try to sign him permanently NOW rather than wait until he is out of contract. If he is very keen to sign for us and therefore would rather stay on loan till his contract is out then shouldnt be a problem.

Matt Macey is a terrible keeper. Worst or no better than JVS.Joe Day would be a much better signing but may not want to come if Annsi is only out for say a month.

kampuchheagas; Its all personal choice and I think you are being harsh on some. Personally I rate Ehmer and Baldwin as decent players at this standard and I would rate them above Kilgour and Harries. No matter how good or poor the left backs are the fact is you can't have four left backs in your squad! Can't really say I am over impressed with any of them but Koiki has potential as does Tutonda though both possibly as wide players rather than full backs so really would have to make a choice between the two as which was best..Personally I feel Barrett looks like there is a player in there rather than Hargreaves who I feel is Conference standard at best as is Kelly so would try to release both. Mehew I would keep on loan for the rest of this season and the same with Tomlinson as haven't seen enough to suggest they are good enough yet. We have Little, Hare and I would be looking to release both at the season end for different reasons. In midfield I would try to loan Liddle out and sign Oztumer and if possible McCormick.keep Grant,Westbrooke and try to extend Nicholsons contract NOW. Upson I would keep until the end of the season then release and the same with Rodman.I would keep the three strikers we have but try to get two more in. I see far more potential in most of the signings than you have given credit for but you are;like everyone else; entitled to your opinion.

I agree with Topper. In playing in goal for over 30 years I cant recall slipping over many times but JVS always looks like he is going to slip over when he kicks the ball. In fact his distribution is pretty poor all round and to add to that his positioning on the shot after his mistake was very poor too. The angle the player was on he should never have been able to score with such a weak shot. Kilgour whilst playing better unfortunately lacks consistency and co9ncentration and his mistakes although not that many are regularly ending up in the net.

It is nonsence to say that two weeks without any training is not going to affect performance. It is my opinion that the EFL should have cancelled yesterdays game for that very reason. We in fact played that game with at least three players not playing due to the effects of COVID and against a team who have played and also trained and it showed in the fitness. Even so it was a game we could still have won and were still in thhe contest until JVS gave them the second goal and we all know thw worst time to concede is just before half time. Next game will be a fairer game to assess the team and I still believe we have a reasonable squad of players but do need another striker who can lead the attack.

People are blaming JVS for the goal because of the poor kick but his positioning on the shot was dreadful and he should have stopped it.

Pretty awful display. MK Dons were rubbish too.We looked throughout like a team who hadnt trained and lacked fitness but we should have equalised in the first attack of the second half and it could have all been different. I feel that these teams who have to cancel due to Covid should not have to play after 1 training session-its a bit of a farce but its something that we and other teams are going to have to put up with. There should have been a two or three week break.

Sorry but Hargreaves is not League 1 or 2 standard. Dreadful but we look like a team that havent trained for a while. Should bring Hargreaves off at half time and maybe McCormick as well.Bring on Ayunga to go up top and Barrett. Cant really see us getting much at the moment and would settle for a 1-1 draw at the moment as MK have been the better of two poor sides.

Great. Always like to see Managers react like this after we have beaten them. Will settle for a lot more of these as much better than being praised by an opponents Manager after they have beaten us!There are not that many Managers who praise opponents when they get beat.

I would agree with eric that although some of the goals we have conceded have been down to lack of pace they have more been caused by poor positioning to start with which is down to lack of concentration not lack of pace.Pace is usually about recovering when you or a team mate have made a mistake. Not many centre halves who are strong in the air are very quick. England/Tottenham/Man United have exactly the same problem with people like Dyer and Maguire to name two.

This is just the bad luck we are getting this season. Just when we look like we have the side to change things around we get hit with Annsi and Oztumer. Not going to say we wont win but these changes make it that more difficult.

Very surprised at the possession figures at half time as didnt really feel we were anything other than in control of the game. IMO Hare, JVS, Hargreaves, Liddle, are not up to League 1 standard and Walker is not ready yet.Kilgour had his best game of the season so did his chances no harm. Upson and Westbrooke both did reasonably well. Hamlan was quiet but missed when he went off. Leahey is the best of a poor bunch as a defensive left back. Baldwin as usual gave two bloody awful passrs straight to the opposition but overall he was pretty good. The most important thing is we won and move on to the next round.

Cant see there being many changes and rightly so. We need to build on Saturday. I see the playing JVS as a problem as not only does it limit vastly our chances of getting through but what happens if you play him all the way and we do get to the final (a miracle) do you then deny Annsi the chance to play at Wembley in a final? I am a firm believer in playing the best team you can put out for all first team games irrespective of competition. It should be well within the capabilities of a professional footballer.

I have always rated Ed but have to confess that I wouldn't have had him in the team based on his performances this season but today I thought he was absolutely superb. The entire team played well today and showed exactly what65 we have seen in glimpses this season so far. Lets hope that this is the start of something good.

DC was taking us down at the time he was rightly sacked- well wrongly -it should have been about a month earlier. Why on earth would anyone want him back? A League 2 Manager at best.By the way if we accept the money from the Prem then Tisdale is stuffed in January. If anyone can sort this mess out then I think Tisdale is the man.We have to give him a fair chance .

I don't fear at all for the future. I fear for NOW! I think most of the players signed will prove to be good players but it is all about getting the balance right. We need to be better at attacking and then the defenders will get confidence. I think Baldwin and Ehmer are good players most of the time and make few errors but the ones they do make are all being punished at present. I have seen things I like from nearly all of our players at times but there is no consistency which is often the case with young players. The disaster is having to play them together and unfortunately the experienced pros left from last season like the ones we got rid of are not good enough or always injured.

Christ Hollyhillgas, What are you suggesting doing...relegate us for certain? There are lots of candidates of players who are not getting a look in but I would try to get rid of Upson, Harries, Kelly, Little,JML, Leahey and everyone needs to shape up.They are all as bad as one another at the moment. Otzumer, Nicholson ,Annsi, Hanlan,Daly are the chinks of light!!
