Didn't Darlington players test positive just after we played them, is he suggesting social distance football? The man has a brain virus.

No I'm not saying that I'm saying to curb racism it has to be fair or it won't be taken up. Abuse should be stopped for everyone not just a favoured group. There is plenty of abuse against white people even on this forum which would be called out if it was against black people. I don't think racism will be stopped until behaviour is fair. I know we are talking in the wrong thread here so I'll leave it. Thanks for trying to explain yourself tho Al, actual racists just don't care. It's been a very good indictment of individualism. If I had my way Grover abusers would be encouraged to take responsibility and change otherwise be removed from society. That includes abusers of all people and all animals.

I'm sorry Pirate but your desire to post negativity is likely connected with your desire to change government and that's why you can only see one side, because to see positivity doesn't suit your agenda. Individual freedom whist attractive objectively imo is only suitable for the emotionally mature which we all know lots of the population are not. There is therefore a need to control the masses because its impossible to be selective regarding each person's level of responsibility. Control has to happen to safeguard the vulnerable which is why we have laws and especially so during a pandemic. If we gave everyone freedom do you think everyone will be sensible. No it will be a ticket to be selfish and a tragedy for the weaker people of our society.

No evidence the NHS wouldn't be able to cope. Isolate people with symptoms and protect the vulnerable and at risk groups. The NHS certainly won't be helped by "the biggest economic decline in 300 years." Sorry but that's just bollocks So what you saying Pirate is the NHS are coping very well with the pandemic and even have a greater capacity than needed at the moment, isn't that great planning? What benefit would the government derive from 'brainwashing people' and having 'the worst economic decline in 300 years'? The answer hopefully will enlighten us.

Pirate why does your pc just throw up negative anti government results is it something to do with your default settings? I always thought there were two sides to every argument.

I get the feeling we are racists if we don't favour black people. Sorry I think of everyone as equal, if that makes me a racist that's great. Yeah you might think of every one as equal or just simply not discriminate, which is great and good on you Al. Unfortunately there is an element of society that doesn't like anyone different to them, and actively discriminate. Are you saying you have never heard anyone say anything derogatory against another just because of their race? No I'm not saying that I'm saying to curb racism it has to be fair or it won't be taken up. Abuse should be stopped for everyone not just a favoured group. There is plenty of abuse against white people even on this forum which would be called out if it was against black people. I don't think racism will be stopped until behaviour is fair.

I just think by favouring someone we treat them as inferior. So giving someone a job because they are black we are ignoring their talent. Of course the opposite is racism.

I’m not a member but yes I’m pro European and against Brexit . There was a reason why I blocked you on Twitter because I don’t want to engage with sad little racists like yourself . Ha ha there you go again.....different opinions and views = racist.....when will you lefties ever learn? Funny that you would have been happy to see a proven anti Semitic party take charge of the country, but guess racism doesn’t count when it relates to Jewish people! I get the feeling we are racists if we don't favour black people. Sorry I think of everyone as equal, if that makes me a racist that's great.

I’m not sure what I’m supposed to take from this, I read it and yes, being a nurse comes with heartache and yes, some people are dying. Other than tugging at heart stings or making us go “wow. What a tough job they have, I’ll clap and help them get a pay rise” as is the BBC’s intent, I don’t know what 4 anecdotal accounts are supposed to add to the debate. the BBC aren’t known for their objectivity these days, you might as well be posting morning star links. Well I'd like to think it shows the reality of the situation and the extremely difficult work that the front line workers do which I appreciate so much. Perhaps you don't agree which of course you have every right to disagree.

Exactly 365, 'let's have a rave because I won't die from it' there has been utter selfishness from some people.

Omg how depressing, I'm glad he's not our Manager. Feck me that was terrible! I only look at the negatives, I’m not looking forward to the next game? If I was a Plymouth fan I would be very worried with this clown in charge! Looks like a man on the way out imo. Yeah that's what I thought, he's completely watered of with everything, if I was a Plymouth director I wouldn't be happy with that interview.

Well we're all expecting a good open game with lots of goals which generally means we'll get the opposite. So I will guess two goals in the game and a draw at 1-1.

That was it! There were a couple of players mentioned. One led to his dad coming onto the forum defending his son. Suffice to say he was a young Irish lad, the other youngster is now the captain of a side in our league and the senior player is still plying his trade in our league. 'Still plying his trade' I hope it's football you mean

I thought the best team won, but not by 3 goals and Plymouth were unlucky not to score. A tale of two halves. As much as we (again) played some lovely passing and movement football, scored direct from set pieces (how long has that taken to say!?) and some individuals really shine, I can't help being a little worried about our defence and the amount of chances we present to opposition every match. Appalling lack of marking and opponents seem to have time and space of a lifetime in our own pen area. That said, Alfie headed as good as any centre forward I've seen for the Gas for the first.... McCormick (or as the commentator keeps slipping up on, McCormack?) dainty goal and all round brilliant display in first half for the second....and a counter attacking slick passing move for Westbrook side footed third. Not withstanding a Nicholson bar and Upson post hitting! But, for me the m o m was JVS, especially as his last outing he let in a howler. Commanded his area well, made two good saves, came off his line at right time to put off shot and generally looked very competent. Another great team display against decent competition as Plymouth certainly won't face relegation on this showing. A note.... isn't it a mark of a good team that two stars that perform consistently well weren't missed yesterday? Jaak and Oz are no doubt good enough to get in most teams in this division, yet no one was mentioning them during the match as McCormick (new position which I thought he rose to admirably?) and JVS stepped up just as well. Starting to gel when managed correctly? A good win and now on for sterner tests... Completely agree. Can we have attractive open football though with a fortress defence? Tis' open style makes it a good game to watch as a spectacle, far better for me than the 1-0 shut up shop managers, although we want to win and not concede which we did yesterday, but as much thanks to Plymouth as ourselves. So this makes Tuesday night a mouth watering experience to look forward to! Perhaps a repeat of the 5-5?
