I see on Twitter that he is leaving his role with us after 3 1/2 years as First Team Analyst.
Wonder if he will be replaced with all this talk of cutbacks?

Scoring a brace in two consecutive matches. That's the way to do it. Gives your agent a strong hand. Alerts other teams that are struggling to score goals. Encourages your present manager to pressurise the money people to look down the sofa. Chris Martin has played a blinder. Worth an extended contract. But not at any price. Might of scored two in the Wycombe game, but what did it bring us? What else did he do in the game? If he’s gave anymore than a contract until the end of the season we’re mad, and to think people were against JCH due to his age. I may be wrong but I think most people who had doubts about JCH were concerned more about the £800k (or whatever) fee than his age.

Really surprised an extension hasn’t been sorted.
If he goes, how confident are we that we would get a replacement for him plus the other striker that I believe we need?

"It [the situation] hasn't changed," said Martin to the Bristol Post following his brace against Charlton Athletic on December 29.
"My contract ends - I'm not even sure. The 20-something of January, whenever it was. I actually can't remember the exact date but nothing's changed. No words. I continue to do the job and see what happens." Ted's and QPR rumoured to be looking at him. So that’s Martin and Collins off to QPR according to the papers!

Done for Grant.
Excellently taken goal but Patrick Bamford the clear winner imo.

Communicating with Ticketmaster is literally impossible.
I had an issue with my Norwich away tickets and tried to email them and it bounced back as undeliverable.
You cannot contact them by the phone number given as it is ‘unrecognised’.
How do you contact them?

Guys - the only priority group is seated ST holders. Terrace ST holders don’t get any priority. Seems to have sold out for terracing. I have a terrace season ticket and there was a reserved ticket in my account once I had logged in.

How many fans did we take last time to Anfield ? Was it about 7k from memory? I remember it was more and IF we win the reply ( and it is a big IF ) I think 10k if we can have that many tickets.... Get a train load from the deep south (Cornwall) !! We sold out the 7000 tickets they gave us and iirc wouldn’t give us any more. I remember they wanted us to change the original home draw at Twerton to Anfield saying that they would sell it out! As it was I think there were less than 30000 at Anfield for the replay. What a game that was!

Hope not.
Norwich play on the previous Friday while we play on the Saturday which would give them a big advantage imo.

Totally agree, he was sensational, made so much time on the ball. The starting midfield 3 were absolute quality. Finley's range of passing was a joy to watch, and Ward was at his best; all three yesterday showed they could play in the next level up; If Antony can continue playing at that level for the rest of the season I would not be surprised if the Championship clubs come in for him in the summer. I've said before on another thread I think Evans Finley ward quality wise is the best midfield I've ever seen at the gas and I've been going since 1988. Such a shame it seems ward is going to be out again now Absolutely agree about this midfield three - and particularly pleased re Finley who was getting a fair amount of stick not long ago. Proved himself to be a true captain and leader of men imo.

You forgot Whoosh Nicky Tanner I couldn't understand why Rovers were going to sell him to Torquay for about 10k only for Liverpool to sign him for not much more. Odd that he was deemed not good enough for Rovers and yet good enough for Liverpool and odd that the fee was so low. The most bizarre transfer ever. Was delighted when Torquay were taking him off our hands and paying us as well. Could not believe it when it was announced that Liverpool had hijacked the deal!

Favourite player and manager. Used to make playing football effortless on those atrocious pitches at the time. Gutted when he left. Loved him - one of my favourite players. How many times did he split an opposing defence wide open and put Paul Randall clear to go one on one with the keeper - inevitably scoring. Another memory is a 35 yard shot to score away at Sunderland c 1975/76 to silence Roker Park - greeted with silence ( including me!).
