They communicated alright. Fair paly for the speed. Perhaps if they said the story was a load of bollox might have helped
But the story isn't bollocks is it. I thought it was pretty clear Sainsburies want out and have done for a while. The BOD position remains unchanged. We have a contract. End of. Whether we can hold sainsburies to that contract remains unclear, watertight or not. Can't see what else the BOD can do right now.Ask for a cheque?

At the end of the day, it's a war memorial and should not be touched - simple as that. My late grandad fought in the war and it makes my bloody boil to think these low life degenerate scum do not see an issue with their actions. Whether it was yesterday or today makes no real difference - it's wrong which ever way you look at it. They are absolute scum and I hope those that played a part burn in hell. It's the fact it was done today that really show their lack of human decency...every Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday I always pay my respects wherever I am and whatever I am doing. Wrong any day, but truly disgusting to do it today.

Bs10er. I think the title at the top of the thread gives it away. Rod. I've got a great idea.... lets patronise my potential voters In fairness, this strategy often works for 'professional' politicians....

Why the hell would they go through all the court cases and then try and pull out? Exactly what I was thinking. Not to mention to site will be a gold mine. Truly, truly bizarre. I would imagine at any given moment Sainsbury's Litigation has so many legal cases on the go it would make your head spin... and let's not forget the whole JR was TrasH vs BCC, Sainsbury's didn't even send a legal team to the hearing... ...they don't care about this site...they really don't...it might turnover £1M per day for them in 5 years time if it all goes through and goes well for them, or it might still be a collection of crappy terraces and dodgy grandstands turning over £100k every other week for us...but like many other companies they are nervous about future growth (especially large stores) and so are probably more than happy to get out of any existing 'watertight' contract they may have signed with BRFC...just guessing though... As always the board are damned if they do & damned if they don't. Many wanted more communication, so when the club speak out on a Sunday they are accused of rushing into making a statement. They made a statement that didn't say anything, didn't clarify most of the points in the article and yet was published on a sunday...a quick reply (and/or) rushed, yes it was...exuding confidence...not even close...

I am much more nervous now the board has replied so quickly (and on a sunday to boot)...
From what I read in the newsagents earlier it was a awkwardly worded factually inaccurate story and the club have responded with a vague rebuttal of something...not the main 'suggestion' of the story, but a rebuttal of something though...
For once, I'd be happier if they'd waited until office hours to reply, but I might be overthinking it...

Just read this article on the BBC...it seems well informed and researched (so it's worth a read)... www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28593032However, one sentence made my blood boil: What? Good health? What kind of business loses £7.1M in a year and is in 'good health'

I think he's defo lost the plot here.... I think that William was referring to public open spaces, not a privately owned, money losing, out of date, crumbling sports venue An open letter to Mr Carstairs, STFU and GBTW... Yours, Big Dave

McChrystal will do for me! Seemed a natural leader before handed the armband. Yup with my sensible hat on i agree. A good leader and i don't like new signings being made captain. Why not...? Someone coming in from the outside can often see things, and change things that those who have been here for a while take for granted. It might not be the review we all wanted, but I'd be quite happy with a confident/experienced player coming in and leading the team.

Sometimes I am ashamed of our fans too, but fans are not heros to a kid. It's just not comparable. Spose that depends on how old you are the tote end boys were my heroes when i was growing up, for the simple reason that when chelsea kicked off in the tote some made a beeline for me and got me out of the way We've come a long way since then...

In fairness, if I wanted a shirt it's not a bad gamble... £39 on a shirt, plus a probable low number of entries, vs £32 worth of tickets...

Numbers are not important. What's more important is the number of legendary threads generated... ...errr... lol. I thought spider crisis was a good candidate tbh but not for everyone... It's because you went with a spider...maybe you should have gone with a less scary home invader...

Great post and I totally agree. We also need a creative player with a good turn of pace Or two of them...can we have too many creative and fast players?

We have not got a big budget at all. It's been cut to the bone and DC has had to find players for no fees and on low wages. We are much worse off than many want to believe. Is that a bad thing though ?? As far as I can tell it's the best thing going for us. It's not a complete change in the 'playing mentality' at the club, but it's a start...

I'm in. I thought it would just be rovers games to be honest so it requires a bit more cheating by looking at the bookies site than i thought! Ill get on it when I'm off my nights. I was gonna just do Rovers, but figured most people liked the WC format and would probably just guess at the other teams matches Before we get too far/too close to the start of the season, what are people's views? All games, just Rovers and/or City and/or selected teams? Or all Conference games?
