People should just sit back and wait until we hear something..
The only thing certain in all this is that we will hear something be it positive or negative. The endless hearsay and "someone I know said this or that" does no one any favours.

Some positive off the field news next month would be good, much needed too. Yes some new owners with money behind them and some clue about football hopefully. Seriously you want the old lot back?

Can't help but feel this will be lost within all the media for the Trump inauguration...

I think there is an acceptance within the club that a midtable finish is fine for this year. So don't spend too much at the moment

All I can say is that if DC does decide to accept the Leeds job then as far as I am concerned he can F@ck off and good riddance. He said he would stay until he had established us in a top 10 position in League 1 and that we could hold him to that. He made that pledge when the club didn't have 2 pennies to rub together. The club is now a totally different proposition, there is money and hopefully a new stadium to come. He has just been offered a 3 year contract FFS. All his bowing to the crowd, getting watered with the fans and singing promotion songs, what was that for? If he goes, F!!! Him. I hope he gets all he deserves. Let's hope the owner/chairman can find the right replacement End of rant. It's a job for him. If someone offers to double your wages in your job what do you do?

What's wrong with WSM? Or butlins at Minehead? Higgs wouldn't have even stumped up for that! Didn't he pay for the squad to go to Ibiza after the playoff final ?

Unfortunately in reality if Northampton win next week they will seal promotion automatically. This has got to be a massive incentive for them to give one last push. Would take a point.

Got so suspect that "The till" knew this was on the cards from the day of the takeover?
Might have been told you have a job till the court case then OUT OUT OUT

If the problem that they PL teams are trying to solve by this is lack of exposure for young English players, then bring in a mandatory 4 English qualified players per team rule surely?

Would also mean the end of the final being played at Wembley surely?
What would be the point if it was Arsenal U21s v Chelsea U21s in front of 4000 people.
Even if a proper club played an U21 team in the final the whole thing would be devalued and basically a farce

I see reports that upto 16 PL U21s teams could be entered into the JPT from next season.
Dangerous move as could open the door for them to be entered into the Football League as well?
Would you be willing to pay £10 to watch the Gas v Man City U21s?

Do we really need 35000? I think even if we were doing what Swansea or Bournemouth are doing now there would still be 1000s of empty seats. Go 25k tops and if we consistently fill it then expand.

Is the appointment of this analyst guy a sign that we may be using some type of moneyball criteria when looking at signings? Looks like he may have worked for Opta or someone similar analysing the Bundesliga counting passes and measuring runs and the like.
Hope DC sees value in this type of input as sometimes you get the impression that proper "football people" treat it with a bit of suspicion..

More interested in what level of player we would be looking at. If you consider the question what level is the 1st signing currently playing at?
