Agree, that second goal of ours was a thing of beauty! Swiftly followed by the free-est header you'll ever see for their next goal!
Looked like an exciting game.

Great podcast mate, enjoyed that. Gerry has some great anecdotes and some pretty fruity language to boot!

Thanks for this mate, a good listen. Used to love watching Dave Pritchard play. No nonsense!

Well done boys. Credit to BG, really starting to turn the ship around now. And credit to Wael for sticking with him and backing him in the transfer market. Lets keep this run going!

Be honest though, not as good are they.

It would be very Rovers to cock up the planning and building of a stadium through numerous decades of favourable economic conditions and then randomly end up building one when the economy was in a massive hole.

Amazing to see how much the pitch level has been raised too, must be at least 3ft The media release originally quoted some absolutely ridonculous amount of topsoil that was going to be brought in for the build and I assumed it was a typo, but maybe it was correct after all!

All great goals, some absolute beauties in there. Kilgour for mine though, what a brilliant strike that was.

Ollie has made it very clear previously that he doesn't want to leave the local area. If that is still the case it kind of limits his options.

This is great news. Realistically I suspect that once this first phase of work is complete many people will be underwhelmed with what has been built. But for me it's a footprint for the club to grow from. Hopefully it will ultimately lead to the development of a high quality facility that the club can be proud of. In the meantime simply having our own facilities is a step in the right direction. Well done Wael.

I honestly remember that game like it was yesterday. Stewy with the headband, smashing the upright from about 100 yards out. Taylor and Browning ballooning those chances. Great game.
Some amazing hair on that rovers strike duo as well.
That was just a great day out despite the result.

At some of the aussie rules games I've been to they play crowd noise after each goal with a video on the big screens to try and get the crowd going. Sounds utterly naff.

What a great watch that is. That Carl Saunders shimmy on the edge of the area in the build up to the second goal is amazing. Awesome stuff.

Can't help anyone, Bristol wise. Sorry. Trying to help a couple of the oldies around my area. Supermarkets were pretty much cleaned out here earlier in the week. Much better now. There's plenty of food. The logistics of getting it to the supermarket is the problem. No toilet paper of course. Well done to everyone offering help in this thread. To be honest I'm struggling mentally a bit today. I work as a courier for a pathology company. So I'm still driving around as normal. But to see people sat close outside the pub yesterday. And a couple of women meet & greet with a hub and a kiss is just bizarre after all the warnings we've had. I had to console a bloke who was crying in a medical centre car park the other day. And I'm f**king useless at things like that. He was telling me how he'd just gone back to work after three weeks off. Had very little food for him and his family. He'd been to over a dozen chemists to get a ventolin spray for his daughter and there were none available anywhere on the coast. Good Luck everyone. Absolutely unbelievable how many people are ignoring the advice down here in VIC too mate. Selfish pricks. We're sleepwalking into a disaster.

Post still adamant Fruit Market deal still on. This in their Q+A today: “The fruit market deal remains very much on and they hold exclusivity regarding negotiations over the purchase of Rovers.” Jesus, I just wish this would reach fruition already. Dream on mate. We've clearly been sold a lemon.

Born in Australia, grew up in Cambridge, then Bristol for secondary school. Moved to Scotland and London for a while then back to Australia. Just bought my three year old aussie son his first rovers shirt. Start brainwashing them early...
