A thread for the bootlickers that enjoy seeing police attack peaceful protestors, from last night's travelling community rights protest. Splendid action from the Police and should have been deployed on Sunday evening to kick the filthy scum from our streets. Dirty, filthy stinking benefit scrounging crud.

You as a health worker ought to know better than anyone the dangers of mass gatherings at this time. Your attitude is atrocious and if you went to this demo then shame on you. Christ and you have the audacity to call others patronising. That’s not patronising, that’s utter surprise a health worker would condone such activity, especially as (s)he would have seen first hand the worse effects of Covid first hand. It would be horrifying if (s)he had admitted attending the demo. Protect the NHS. Hands Face. Space. However I do feel for you because being accused of being patronising (when you were) obviously stung and you’ve been itching to score an equaliser.

Quite right, welcome back. You as a Health Worker condone illegal mass gatherings during a pandemic? It seems Purdown Poacher can’t make his mind up.

Touched a nerve have I - there’s no ruse, no hidden agenda just a straightforward question which you haven’t answered? Nothing political about the question, it couldn’t be any clearer. Probably not a good idea to tell me or any one to f**k off - you’re setting a great example as a Mod. PM me and let know what your role is in the Health Service - you asked me the question earlier which I openly answered - something you haven’t reciprocated. I stand by what I said, using my health service status to try and score political points is pretty pathetic imo. I reference it because of the pandemic and I had hoped to share info people on here might find useful. I hadn't mentioned it at all until then. If its going to be used against me I shall not bother anymore. I dont mod here, so if anyone wants to edit my post they can. And no, I won't be telling you anything. You as a health worker ought to know better than anyone the dangers of mass gatherings at this time. Your attitude is atrocious and if you went to this demo then shame on you.

US approval given. "Results from the long-awaited US trial of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid vaccine are out and confirm that the shot is both safe and highly effective. More than 32,000 volunteers took part, mostly in America, but also in Chile and Peru. The vaccine was 79% effective at stopping symptomatic Covid disease and 100% effective at preventing people from falling seriously ill. And there were no safety issues regarding blood clots. That should further reassure some EU countries that recently paused rollout of the vaccine amid concerns about a possible link." www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-56479462Excellent. Are the EU going to put a stop on exporting to them as well? I doubt it. They don’t have to get even with the USA for leaving the EU.

I don’t think they do. Occasionally they make reference to ‘The other place” but comment daily? Can’t see any evidence of that. They don't need to, Oldgas, you've told them anyway. None of this matters really, Yatton has still pointlessly conducted his comment about TTWD through a 3rd party medium. Who knows, he may even be on OTIB telling anyone who will listen that I’m a filthy racist.

He’s a big boy, let him answer for himself. Also, If person A leaves, what is the point in person B commenting on person A’s post on another forum when A won’t see B’s comments? The whole point of commenting on another’s point of view is to allow that person to respond, don’t you agree? Therefore, as person C I feel able to invite B to go to where A is now active and comment on his posts and avatar direct. A fair point, although we all know they read this forum inside out and comment about it daily. Therefore your point is meaningless. I don’t think they do. Occasionally they make reference to ‘The other place” but comment daily? Can’t see any evidence of that.

What a total bag of crasse rubbish. Have you watched the footage of this riot - two coppers in hospital - one of them dragged into the crowd - stamped on fracturing ribs and perforating a lung - quite possibly children wondering where their father is and you “can understand it” - vandalism, arson, thuggery, attempts to set a police van on fire with the police still in it - and you “can understand it” . “The right to protest and seek change” - illegally and you support it. Take a look in the mirror - and remember there’s a regular poster on here who hasn’t posted today - I really hope as a fellow gas head his wife as a serving police officer was not caught up in this shitfest - and you of all people can understand it? Yes I can understand it. Sadly the police have been placed in the front line by a Government so incompetent in the direction and wording of their policies, the poor police are left, on tbe street, having to interpret what is being passed onto the Statute book. Add then an inflammatory and totally unnecessary proposal which threatens our democratic right to protest by asking the police to interpret "nuisance", under which we can be arrested and charged. That needs to be resisted. It was interesting to hear an ex chief constable (Manchester) agree on this point. Let me say again, I totally disagree with attacking the police, but I totally agree with resisting this proposed legislation by any peaceful means. Including disruption. Hopefully this appalling undemocratic proposal will be suitably amended at committee stage and these clauses deleted. Perhaps the police and the CPS can then have a look at themselves and work out why so many women are being attacked in their thousands with no resulting prosecutions. This bill isn’t about banning protest per se, only about having more control to prevent disgraceful scenes like we witnessed recently from Reclaim the Streets, BLM etc etc. All designed to fracture society and eventually topple an elected government. A peaceful protest is just that, it allows a small minority of the population who feel a certain way to express their views. Why should it be allowed to turn into a rampaging orgy of injury and destruction, usually perpetrated by a mob of hard-core left wing activists intent on redesigning society. If the peaceful protesters can be allowed to have their say and then disperse in an orderly manner, the troublemakers can be isolated and dealt with before they kick off" The biggest mistake the Police made on Sunday was in not having many more officers ready and then wading in and kicking the Sh1t out of the agitators.

I mean, whilst I don’t agree what’s happened at Bridewell in the aftermath, the initial protest is for good reason, the new protest bill pushes us towards authoritarianism, it wouldn’t look out of place in China or North Korea. So if only 1 person contracts and then dies of Corona virus as a result of either attending this protest or it was passed on to someone who didn’t even go, the protest would have been OK in your view?

The EMA is part of the EU, it tested the various vaccines on behalf of the EU before pronouncing they were safe. The only problem is they were much slower than the UK’s stand-alone agency who proclaimed the vaccines safe considerably quicker. The UK govt also hugely funded the vaccine development programme and placed heavily controlled contracts with the vaccine suppliers. Meanwhile the EU was more interested in squeezing as low a price as possible, and placed inferior contracts with the suppliers. The UK contract is much stronger and binding than the EU version, that is a matter of fact and no amount of fart-arsing and bluster from you can alter that. One thing in the EMA’s favour is that they were right about the vaccine whereas the EU, in the guise of France and Germany were wrong, twice, which just goes to show they can never really get anything right, which the more enlightened in this country knew all along, and saved people like you from yourselves by voting to leave. And Finally, the EU are jealous and outraged by our vaccine success. Even the German press agree, printing headlines about the vaccination issue like ”Britain, we envy you” I think perhaps it is you who should have a beer and a fag to cool down, perhaps even something a bit more herbal. Well done on summarising what I’ve been telling you for months, I guess it does go in slowly. It’s funny that you seem to think I’m arguing against the contracts, can you show me where I have? Or have you simply made something up yet again to suit your agenda? It’s funny how you will desperately change anything to try and fit your agenda. One minute you’re saying the EU & EMA are the same institution and were correct. Then you’re saying that the EU, through Germany and France, said the vaccines was a flop 😂 I mean, you literally couldn’t make it up. Although actually, you can. And have. The EU probably are jealous, yeah. Outraged? No. Again you fail to understand the difference between them being angry at AZ, and the UK. I’m not sure why this is so difficult for you to comprehend. And again, you did realise the difference between the EU and a country, right? I do love your conspiracies - let’s quickly asses where we are: - EU cocked up their vaccine plan - They were angry at their own mess, so they needed someone to blame - They all sat down and discussed how seething they were and angry at the UK being successful (despite worst deaths, cases, GDP etc) - They then told the EMA to approve the vaccine - Then they forced all the countries in the EU to reject it - Despite this, they knew the vaccine was actually fine - they just wanted to show the UK how angry they were - They even advised to continue with the vaccine, whilst secretly forcing other countries not to administer the vaccine on a pretence of lies and lack of evidence - Then they formally announced through the EMA that the vaccine is safe, again Well what a plan that was, they really showed us. All because they’re angry at us, not AZ - they probably told them not to worry about because actually we’re just so angry at the UK, that’s our real problem. You continue as you are AZ. I think that’s all of what you’ve said in the last few months. Quite the impressive imagination you have there. There’s one word that perfectly sums your argument up: Pathetic.

I read your post properly, it’s just unfortunate that you made a grammatical error which lead me into believe you were saying something else. Funny, you’ve been banging the drum that the EMA and EU were the same thing. Not only that, you said that the EU said it “didn’t work”. You’ve changed your tune. The EMA is part of the EU, it tested the various vaccines on behalf of the EU before pronouncing they were safe. The only problem is they were much slower than the UK’s stand-alone agency who proclaimed the vaccines safe considerably quicker. Oh, come on Gassy. I know you think the EU can do no wrong, but for Heavens sake don’t pretend there’s no link between the UK and EU when it comes to vaccinations. To recap. We went alone and ordered millions of doses of, among others, Oxford AZ and Pfizer Biontech vaccines. We paid towards development costs and had our contracts and authorisation of use weeks before the EU, which was crawling along, trying to squeeze the lowest price from the manufacturers and the EMA was weeks behind in authorising it’s use. We therefore had several weeks head start, and had a world leading immunisation programme in place. We had quickly immunised many more people tha n the nd because the EU had made such a balls of their supply contracts they weren’t getting supplies from the manufacturers as quickly as us. True to form, the EU started threatening the manufacturers over deliveries and threatened to block exports to the UK. At one point they suspended the NI agreement but backed down in the face of universal condemnation. Since then we have had Germany, France and other EU nations refusing to give the Oxford jab to over 65’s because they said it didn’t work for older people. When that was proved, by their own medical experts, WHO and the EMA they quietly dropped their objections but for many European people the damage was done Andy the uptake by EU citizens is slow and low. Unable to countenance our surging success the French German etc etc governments suddenly decided, with no evidence, that the Oxford vaccine caused blood clots, and banned its use. As before they’ve had to climb down and have started to use it, but of course they have damaged the confidence of their people and their willingness to have the jab further. So, we have an EU which is seething with anger and envy at our vaccination success, overwhelmingly with the Oxford jab, and they have to do something about it. The EU actually have several million vaccines sitting unused in storage because A) They have a Sh1t vaccination programme EU wide and B) Their people are refusimg it because of all the scaremongering by various European govern, ents, led as usual by that short-arsed tosser Macron. The EU has to do something to put a stop to our success, and they have a meeting on Thursdaywhere they will discuss stopping all exports of vaccines to the UK. You know this is true, 8 don’t understand why you are so keen to stand up for a corrupt, bullying organisation that intends to do harm to your country, and therefore your fellow citizens. Don't 'come on' me, I've put down the EU many a time of the vaccine fiasco - so please stop making stuff up when you feel like it, because it's extremely tiresome. I also have not said there's no link between UK & EU vaccines, just that we were discussing a record amount of vaccinations given in the UK and you felt the same need yet again to turn it into an EU bash. Is it ever possible for you to not turn something into a conversation about the EU - like are you actually capable of doing that? For the rest of your post, it was refreshing to actually read you attempted to post seriously for once, before heading back into your usual ways at the latter end. As soon as you got to the over 65's bit it's all just laughable from there. Countries didn't say "it doesn't work for older people", they said 'there is a lack of evidence in the over 65's to suggest it is safe and effective'. AKA, not enough of the trial subjects were above 65. As you don't work in the industry, you'll have to take my word for it when I say they're unbelievably different. What objections did the WHO & EMA have against the AZ vaccine? Show me the links, I look forward to reading them. We all know you won't and can't though. Many of the countries took the right decision from the data they saw to halt the rollout to double check and safety of the vaccine, this stemmed from Denmark & Norway where the deaths took place - not Germany and France. But hell, that wouldn't fit your lovely story to blame the EU, would it? Clearly from your post you don't understand how clinical trials work, "suddenly decided, with no evidence, that the Oxford vaccine caused blood clots, and banned its use". When unexpected deaths happen during a trial, the response isn't 'ok lets prove it was the intervention and only then after a couple of weeks will we pause the roll out'. Imagine how stupid that would be. It is of course the opposite, you pause immediately and investigate. This is actually law, but of course from your point, it's evident you wouldn't know that. The EU aren't "seething with anger and envy" at our success. It's actually hilarious how bitter you are, you really hate them don't you? The EU are seething and angry because AZ haven't met their promised delivery. Wouldn't you be? (Serious question, but I bet you don't answer). I don't agree with their methods, as I've stated for the 1000th time now (which you'll ignore), but they're just doing what they believe to be best for their citizens - to guarantee the delivery of vaccines they were promised. I can understand that. Anyone who can't is just bitter and thick - it's really that simple. If AZ would have delivered on their vaccine promise to the EU, then none of this would be a problem. Some how, you actually think the EU are scheming together in Brussels "God I hate the UK, I'm so jealous just how successful they are. Is there any way in which we can stop them? They're just soooooo successful without us it makes me angry". Honestly OldGas, it's the imagination of a child. You've written a lovely little conspiracy story for yourself which I'm sure you actually believe is true, but honestly - have a cigarette and a beer or something because all this hate and bitterness inside you isn't good for you. It’s a shame you couldn’t be bothered to read my post properly before launching into the above pile of patronising twaddle. So I will highlight just one area where you have completely mis represented what I said. I never said the EMA or WHO said the Oxford AZ was unsafe at any time. I said EU governments decided this, in spite of EMA and whosaying there was nothing wrong.

This is gonna get ugly very quickly. The politicians are losing control it seems. Is this happening anywhere else in the world? The Italians are threateningly to withhold vaccine exports to Australia. Legally contracted exports. Gotta love the EU, acting like some second rate Marxist regime. Must seem like Nirvana to you.

It seems that the EU are going to decide whether to ban exports of the vaccine they have said doesn’t work in a meeting on Thursday this week. Im sure that vaccination rates like yesterday will infuriate them even more and they’ll do everything they can to damage us. God you’re like a broken record, we’re discussing the UK ffs. Also, the EU never said it didn’t work. I asked you previously to provide the statement where they said that, and you couldn’t. Let’s actually discuss something that’s true, rather than making stuff up to promote your own agenda. Onto the only true part of your post: the EU did threaten to ban the export vaccines made in the bloc. However, it isn’t to “damage us”, rather they just want the vaccines promised in the order. Whilst I don’t agree with their methods, I can see their duty to protect their own citizens here. Christ if it was the other way around you lot would be fully supporting the move. Where have they said about a deadline for Thursday? Can you post a link, I hadn’t seen that. Oh, come on Gassy. Ok so in actually more interesting topics, a new record set for the 2nd day in a row in 874,000 people vaccinated yesterday. I can't remember, are we going to be low on vaccines in April or not? Thought I read that we'd slow down, then it had fixed itself? It seems that the EU are going to decide whether to ban exports of the vaccine they have said doesn’t work in a meeting on Thursday this week. I don’t care what meaning you put on the word or clever attempts at dressing it up as something which I didn’t mean. For the record my reference was to describe people who come here for an easy life, to be given everything on a plate straight away without having to work or pay for those things. As in ‘Gimmie’ As I’m certain you very well know. And if you didn’t you do now. Apologies for accusing me of being racist accepted, although I don’t care what you think.

Sounding like Johnson rejected a September lockdown, that may have saved a huge amount of lives. I'm sure he'll be held to account for his actions. I wonder if you’ll ever be held to account for your gross stupidity? The charge sheet would be endless. Oh and by the way, it’s number of lives, not amount. Less flour, fewer eggs.
