One team in Bristol, yet two play at Ashton Gate alone. That's logical I suppose. Or is it a spelling mnemonic, only one T in Bristol? One T-Bone in Bristol

Not that I condone your subterfuge, but you prove my point Yatton. There is no reason to say that stand seats are sold out when they are not! Whilst there are various permutations the club could explore - and we wouldn't want to upset Hugo now, would we - it seems to me that selling the seats we have available is pretty fundamental. An answer from the club would be welcome. Yeah, I agree. We should be selling those empty seats. I also agree the south stand is a better area for the kids but I don't think it's big enough for all the SS brigade and the family enclosure regs whilst still giving any provision to seat away fans. Be okay if the SS Brigade leave their tanks at home.

It's all right. The Giro's were late going out today, so no one had 10p for the meter.

At the start of the season I would have been happy with top half - now I want play offs at least.

Apparently a tidy Reading FC cheerleader walked past on the pitch and the supporters started shouting "get your tits out for the lads", this bloater got all excited and thought they were asking him to do it. What a tub of tedlard. Seriously though, at what point do you think, I know, I'll take my shirt off? I just don't get it. My thought exactly. See it a lot at Newcastle games. Is it, 'I'm that 'ard I don't need a shirt in winter'?

More losses yesterday
AW 46 points bet. 65 points return. 19 points profit. 41.3% profit
Jumps 40 points bet. 39.25 points return 0.75 point loss. 1.88% loss.
Total 86 points bet 104.25 points return 18.25 points profit 21.22% profit
Obviously the jumps racing is poor, only hanging around the break even point AW still holding up, though the profits were all in Oct/Nov
One AW bet today Chelmsford 3.30 Cornelious at 10/1

Ha ha. As an aside, isn't the 'by far the greatest team, the world has ever seen' chant, the most embarrassing ever (Think it was Reading singing it) Unless you are Liverpool in the 70s, Man U in the 90s, Real Madrid or Barca it just sounds stupid. or Sheffield fc in 1857.... Forgot about them.

The debate about the EU being the brainchild of the Nazis has been a worthwhile one.If we look where we are now can anyone honestly say that the UK are getting a good deal paying £16bn per year to be a bit part of this horrid corrupt socialist concept? Not a socialist concept mate. Okay the subsidies to underperforming countries might be., but not allowing government support for firms aint. I'm thinking for example of the Cellophane works in Bridgwater. Profitable but closed because the American loss making branch was able to be subsidised by the local state but EU rules wouldn't allow our government to do the same. Seems to me the EU manages to combine the worst aspects of both capitalism and socialism.

Thanks for the write-up. Amazing to think we only need two wins and a draw to equal our points tally that we had in 2013-14 when we went down. If only DC had stepped up earlier that season. Not sure about that. The season in the Conference might have given him a bit extra experience which is paying off now. Who knows. I'm just glad he is here and we are where we are now.

Trouble was there were plenty of 'Rovers fans' also saying this on the other forum .... And I still get the feeling sometimes there are some just waiting for us to fail with the appeal and on the pitch sadly who cares about them? We've spent the last few seasons getting rid of the 'deadwood' on the pitch and on the back room staff...sooner or later we need to get rid of the keyboard warriors who are upset when we're doing well and the moaners on the terraces who can't understand why we're not 1-0 up from the first minute of every game.... Don't think we can afford to lose fans, even if they are moaners. I can remember people moaning even in the 73/74 and 89/90 seasons. Part of the game I am afraid. Agree about the keyboard warriors though.
