I would certainly give him a tryout at Left back, try him in a micky mouse cup match. Added advantage of that is when defending corners it would mean an extra centre half. I agree

Ok so you look at tom and his size and think yep centre back. Not for me! Watching toms youth, army and non league career on video he excelled most when running forward with the ball and attacking teams at pace! Being able to get in crosses, one twos, having shots, taking free kicks. He’s not by nature that commanding still strong ball winning defender - he wants to travel at pace and get about the pitch trying to influence the game but of course he’s a good lad that takes orders and will do his best to be what he can in the professional game but someone needs to do this lad a favour and put faith in him in a different position. He’s not a centre back! He’s just tall and ripped! We need a left back atm - give tom a go with licence to get forward! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at what we find! UTG! I have been thinking the same for some time now.

Darrell’s latest interview: Saying we are looking at bringing in ‘a couple of centre forwards’ and would like to bring in maybe another on loan before the end of august. Could finally be an exciting day of transfer news. Fingers crossed. Payne’s one, who is the other?

True blue club was behind the Tote end. I think the club still there in the car park is the Eastville club I think the Eastville Club is the place where Alfie Biggs used to come out of about 2.00pm on a Saturday!!

For what it’s worth, I was at club shop two weeks ago getting Peterborough tickets, I asked in the shop where the stand had gone, no one knew. I then asked about the new family stand and was told it was being made in France and would easily be erected before first home match and when I asked about away supporters stand was told not going ahead, asked why and no one knew !! How strange, but then, nothing would surprise me at the moment.

I'm sure he will help us pick up points and get our season on track. Could signal good things to come. DC just announced the deal been derailed Now in the sidelines then, perhaps another one will come along later

No threat whatsoever. Him and Nichols are not a striking partnership.

Certainly sounds like he's off. DC clearly didn't want to talk about it and made no mention of an injury like he did when asked about Reilly. As I said before, this will be a bigger loss than Taylor or Bodin in my opinion. Nichols will be lucky to get 3 or 4 based on last season and the open goal he missed today, and Reilly is completely untested at this level. Harrison is the only striker capable of holding up the ball, the only striker quick enough to run past defenders, the only striker strong enough to hold off defenders, the only striker capable of playing up front on his own and the only striker capable of winning a header. He also scored twice as many goals as other other strikers last season and won more headers defending set pieces than all our defenders put together. Can anyone tell me where we might be able to find a like for like replacement for under 500k because I can't see us spending more than that on one player? Without a like for like replacement we will almost certainly be facing a huge battle to stay in L1. I agree totally. I was at Forest Green today and Nichols managed to miss an open goal by 10 yards and Mensah offered no threat what soever. We had no shots of merit on goal in 90 mins. I know that this won’t be our first team, but we still need a striker or two who can exploit the creativeness of Bennet, Sercombe, Upsonn or Mathews. No one today was in the same class.

Are we any closer to finding out who the trialist was? First name Jamie is a start. This is him on the right. Jamie Cureton. AWHHB? Are we having him back?

It was held at the Colony. Training was high tempo. Defenders were issued with mowers, midfielders had strimmers and strikers made use of hedge trimmers. Backroom staff were finishing off the fencing. This was all down to cost cutting, as the club has no money. Where were the goalies ?

We are not called "Bristol" Mr Rodman Welcome BTW This really gets me ! Why do all new signings refer to us as “Bristol” ? Surely the interviewer can make this point before the start of recording.
