If DC thinks the kid is good enough for the bench, then I expect him to start. Still need a keeper for the bench though. Usually keepers don't come off the bench except in extreme circumstances.

Referee had an absolute shocker! Got so many decisions wrong! With 5 yellow cards and 1 red, we'll be up before a disciplinary panel. We only committed 8 fouls in the whole game, so hopefully they'll see what a shocker the ref had. |

Great win with 10, was always confident when we wnet down to 10 as despite Peterborough our home form is fantastic. Couldn't be there as back at Uni, how did the young guy do in goal once brought on? Feel the kid would have loved coming on with 10 at 1-1 and ending up on the winning team. Massive confidence booster for him.
From what it sounded like, classic Rovers in recent times. Never give up attitude and the reason i'm proud to be a gashead.

I wonder if we would have won without the sending off, the crowd and team responded to going down to ten and they were rewarded, great win in the end.

I would imagine we will appeal against the red card and some of the yellows looked dubious - wasn't one for time wasting at a throw-in? I couldn't see that the red card was justified - there was a player between the Walsall bloke and the goal, so not for preventing a certain goal, certainly not a foul but maybe handled outside the area? Will need to see the highlights when they're on Sky News later. |

Great win against all the odds BUT we were second best a lot of the time today ... Walsall looked sharper, quicker to the ball and must be wondering how they came away with nothing today. Some of our players are seriously off the pace ... needs fixing and soon.
We are brittle through the spine of the team ... we can't ride our luck like that every week although incredibly proud to be a Blue tonight.

I can't say for sure about the red because it was so fast and the ref was closer than me but some of his other decisions seemed pretty strange to say the least. It was almost as if he was in the Walsall dressing room as half time getting a bollocking from their manager too because he came out second half and gave them everything. |
