With 5 yellow cards and 1 red, we'll be up before a disciplinary panel. We only committed 8 fouls in the whole game, so hopefully they'll see what a shocker the ref had. I would imagine we will appeal against the red card and some of the yellows looked dubious - wasn't one for time wasting at a throw-in? I couldn't see that the red card was justified - there was a player between the Walsall bloke and the goal, so not for preventing a certain goal, certainly not a foul but maybe handled outside the area? Will need to see the highlights when they're on Sky News later. We were side on (East Terrace) and camera will be too but did look like he got ball, whereas ref will be behind the ball so see a different view. Was left with little choice but to make a do or die tackle though after the crap defending that allowed him through. Browns throw in yellow was harsh even though he had been warned - wasn't as if he was doing it all game

Leads back pass was awful and I really hope he's apologised to Sam because he's set up that incident. I like leads he's our quickest player and on his day he can be brilliant but he's really struggled this season.

Great win against all the odds BUT we were second best a lot of the time today ... Walsall looked sharper, quicker to the ball and must be wondering how they came away with nothing today. Some of our players are seriously off the pace ... needs fixing and soon. We are brittle through the spine of the team ... we can't ride our luck like that every week although incredibly proud to be a Blue tonight. Or is it how DC sets us up? Today we showed all the ingredients blood thunder guts determination skill resolve and yes plenty of room for improvement but I really enjoyed that today and they can F##k the premiership we got the 3 points so I'm happy on to Tuesday night UTG

Partington has been superb as well. Looks well worth the money spent on him last year. Does anyone know who got man of the match?

Almost cost us another similar chance leading to his yellow card, he seem half the player he was at the end of last season. Although the 5 man defence looked strong. Although I doubt we'd have won that if we'd kept 11 man on the pitch, as we seemed to run out of steam after the first 20 mins

If it was a foul it was a red as Slocombe was the last defender, although unless he's a good actor Slocombe gave the impression he couldn't believe the ref's decision.

Think it went wrong before that bodin tried 1 trick too many instead of playing a simple pass they broke and hit a long ball down the wing.Leadbiter was caught wring footed and tried to pass back to the keeper but under hit the pass he then chased backed and from where I was although not in a great position I was unsure whether Slocombe or Leadbitermade the foul because both went into the tackle at the same time.

That's surprising.. I thought he was quite quiet today. My thoughts exactly was surprised when they announced it. TBF even though he had half hour my MOM went to Andre purely based on the fact he was chucked in at the deep end, depite being inexpeirenced and not being ready for first team football, he showed great character. Those 30 minutes were massive for him so a well deserved round of applause for him at the end of the game. Up until he came on my MOM was Partington

We scored today so all was good but didn't last Saturday and it put us in trouble. Other sides seem to push a lot higher up the pitch and press us better than we do to them. That doesn't necessarily win matches but it does make us feel like we can't breathe when we've got the ball and they can. I don't know if it's fitness or the way DC sets us up. It seems to me that we sit 10 yards further back than most sides even at home and it does invite teams on to us. At 1-0 today it always felt like the next team to score was Walsall just because of our shape and the height of our defensive line.

The sending off got the crowd going and led to an exiting finish but i thought we lacked energy today and were quite poor. I thought slocombe played the ball just in time so the red card was wrong.

Lockyer was superb today imo.For all his weaknesses (and his distribution is right up there i know), he does the basics so well. He read the game well today and put his body on the line with countless blocks and interceptions.
