Wow, Sweeney must be one of those "fighting the game" I guess
Nice to see Bola in but with Locks out I thought Sweeney would have been nailed on

Team for me Slocombe Bola Parts Sweeney Brown Sercombe Clarke Lines Bodin Gaffers Telford or if Sinclair is back then Slocombe Bola Parts Sweeney Brown Bodin Lines Clarke Sinclair Gaffney Telford/Nichols Close with the defence. Just Broadbent instead of Sweeney. Probably fair enough on current form. Surprised he has gone with Ellis over Gaffers considering how little time Ellis has played. Not surprised Sercombe is rest. Moore starting is worrying but at least the midfield balance looks better.

I'm happy with that, would have possibly put Sercombe and Gaffney/Telford in for Harrison and Lines but other than that it's a good lineup. Such a wholesale change of the defence has been coming for quite a while. Is this Broadbents and Bolas home debut in the league?

It is amazing how biased and blinkered some are with regards team selection! Every game it seems that Lines, Harrison and Brown should be dropped however they have played in the previous game for another name that has proved nothing. Come on guys get those blinkers off.

Broadbent played well midweek, so not undeserved that he starts over Sweeney, surprising though.
Don't think we'll ever see Burn again given Menayese has made the bench ahead of him. 6 defenders in the squad and only Parts is right-footed. DC usually cares about these things.

Lines was excellent against Wolves. Deserves his place today. Surprised Telford hasn't got his first start tho.

Come on guys get those blinkers off. it's not a biased opinion at all it's one based off watching the players so far this season. I've got nothing against Lines or Harrison in fact my opinion on Harrison is more favourable than a lot of posters on here. My point was perhaps it was a little harsh not to play Sercombe and Gaffney as they have been playing well recently however in the case of Sercombe I do admit that he has played a lot recently and that might be catching up on him. Enjoy the game today.

Gafney and Telford up front would have been better in my opinion be aide they've been better this season than Ellis and Nichols but I'm glad DC has dropped others out of form. We need OC and Lines to step up and put a good 90 mins in today Blackpool are strong in midfield

I expect Sercs to come on with 25 to go and rip it up, now.

I expect Sercs to come on with 25 to go and rip it up, now. I hope so , I'd rather see him attacking left instead of Moore I think he would be decent cutting in on his right foot in the same way Bodin does on his left.

Sercombe was one of the few who had to play the Wycombe game so maybe no surprise he is rested. I dare say he may replace lines second half. D.C. prefers a left and right footed centreback pairing ,so whilst a surprise line up it kind of makes sense. Broadbent has played well so deserves to keep his spot. D.C. is desperate for EH and TN to start scoring league goals so no doubt that's why they are starting. Even though on paper the other two having better scoring averages !
Looks a balanced side except Bola and Partington playing slightly away from their preferred places.
The side is more than capable of winning today. Clean sheet please lads. Rovers 1 Blackpool 0

Will it definitely be Moore left and Bodin right? Last time it was the other way around.
