Ellis, remember when you last played against the Cobblers? Another 3 please! He scored another away from home a couple of seasons ago aswell, clearly he loves playing against them.

Nichols helps us keep the 4-3-3 formation, to be fair to him bar the pen miss he's looked sharp since he came on. That's a strange assessment, he was on the pitch for 8 minutes and managed to miss a penalty. DC is persisting with him because he so wants him to do well (which we all do), but Telford is in form. It is as strange as Harrison getting the nod ahead of Gaffney for so long this season. Nichols and Harrison may be "playing well", but we need goals from the guys up top, I'd have Gaffney and Telford starting every time at the moment, Harrison and Nichols would get their 20-30 minutes from the bench and grab something at some point in stretched games / against tired defenders / as we commit men forward. What's strange about saying he's looking sharp, anybody can miss a pen even when on top of their game Harrison making it 2-0 suggest DC's got it right today so far.

Yes. Ellis should never be starting I stand by Gaffney should start ahead of Harrison, when it's a choice between the two, look at their goals to game time ratio this season. He scores again... but lets remember it's Northampton!!!
