Fair play to Bradford, good initiative.
Charlie Wyke could be back for Saturday, which is bad news for our defence.
Hopefully we'll have a couple of new players in time for the game.

The last time I remember Rovers doing free away travel was at Walsall. Must of been 30 yrs ago! We took 1000’s and it typical Gas fashion we lost. 5-0 I think ?!!!

Bradford are very good with their fans to be fair. Only charge £149 for a season ticket, you can't knock that!

Just made me think. Rovers could /should do this once this season as a thanks to the amazing away support this and last season despite the poor away form. Would be a good gesture by Wael and co after recent grumbles/frustrations coming from a big section of Gas supporters. Oxford in Feb or MK Dons in March spring to mind - both allow 2500+ away supporters I believe.

Good idea and I think the club could get on board with this, Oxford might not be possible due to high demand and limited availability but it would be nice to see a big following at MK Dons with the massive away end that they have. Southend away on the last day might also be a decent idea as they have a good sized away end and it would give us an opportunity to thank the players for the 17/18 season (assuming they don't get relegated!).
Our away support over the last couple of seasons has been incredible considering the poor form they have had to endure. UTFG

Wolves took an incredible 9,000 to MK Dons in 2014.

If the club gave free away tickets which budget would it come out of ? Playing budget? Its been said on here that were losing lots of money so is it such a good idea to lose even more. maybe release a development player to make it possible? Or grow a money tree?

Why should it come out of any budget? I'm sure the owners can afford to do it out of their own pocket as a thank you for our amazing away support and gesture of goodwill.

Reading and Nottingham Forest have also offered free coach travel to an away game this season. Fair play to them, fantastic gesture.

Bradford appear to be a very caring club, offer very cheap season tickets, and now free travel because their team have lost a couple of matches recently. I cannot imagine Waq & Hani doing **** all for the BRFC supporters, hope they prove me wrong. Utg

Utg Well they did save us from where ever NH was taking us plus helped us escape from Div 2, I guess we have to be thankful for that? Although I doubt the Bradford owners are paying for the travel out of their personal money, it's a good PR stunt though.
