Didn't Wael put on free coaches for those who returned to Swindon last season for the midweek fixture??

Remember the 1971 7-1 hammering we gave them - Hopefully Mensah will start and flourish as an unknown quantity to Bradford

Fair play to Bradford, good initiative. Charlie Wyke could be back for Saturday, which is bad news for our defence. Hopefully we'll have a couple of new players in time for the game.
The away game at Bradford when Wyke scored a hat-trick was Johnny Burn's one and only league appearance for us and he was partnered with Broadbent who had only played a few FL games at the time. They won't get it that easy this time.

It was a lack of basic defending though. Maybe we can try marking Wyke this time.

Bradford appear to be a very caring club, offer very cheap season tickets, and now free travel because their team have lost a couple of matches recently. I cannot imagine Waq & Hani doing **** all for the BRFC supporters, hope they prove me wrong. Utg You'd hope that if we had a similar size ground to Bradford then ticket prices would drop. If they are getting double our attendances then they can afford to run the scheme. Probably make a few quid on catering as well as st holders will only need to bring a few quid. Only extra outgoings would be stewarding. Regarding stewarding - After reading about clubs announcing attendances including ST holders who didn't turn up. For H&S reasons the stewards on duty should be enough to cater for the higher figure. They must know how many are in the ground - I digress, think that's on another thread

Is it just me panicking that we have only signed one player - lost Bodin and are 4 puts off relegation! Lose Saturday against a tough Bradford team and we could be sucked right in and this makes January all the more important! Will we end up panic buying? It’s not looking good and so far the owners are letting us down! Time will tell but my arse is starting to twitch! UTG!

They are 5th and we are 17th, of course it will be a tough game, but having said that anyone can beat anyone in this league, Northampton beat them last time out for instance.

Lost at home to Northampton Saturday too. Going to lose to Bristol Rovers on Saturday as well !!!! Played them 25 times in all and our record is very good. W13, D7, L5. Away from home - W4, D4, L5. At home we have - W9, D3, L0. We have scored 4 against them on 5 occasions and of course had a lucky 7-1 win, back in the 70's. So history is on our side, except if you are superstitious and note that it will be the 13th time we have played them at home!!!

DC looking very relaxed again in his video re Bradford Preview. No longer rubbing his face and talking calmly and clearly answering the given questions with no quips. Doesn't sound as though there will be any new faces and perhaps diffusing any expectations the Mensah will start Saturday.
