I see that they have loaned nearly £10m to the football club with no plan to improve the infrastructure yet. How are they expecting to get that £10m repaid? Any views on that? Why would they want the loan repaid? Bankers make money from interest - they do not make money from loans being repaid And infrastructure in football surely includes Academy and training support? which has been improved What happens when they have loaned the club they owe say £15 million and the club is stagnated in league one and going nowhere? The equity in the Mem is loaned against to the maximum, will they continue to loan on a loss making venture even tho they are getting there interest or will that stop? The picture is painted quite well at the moment.

All theses posts inferring the owners are leading us to extinction but not one shred of evidence from anyone in the know or not that our owners mean the club harm, dont know what their doing or wont in the long run deliver a better football club. Nothing from anyone!

Nothing from anyone! The joys of internet football fans! In my mind it can only be damaging to any club in the long run regardless of what the owners are doing.

Not sure it's costs millions just to employ a few extra coaches as that's all BRFC have done so far.

According to my understanding they do not intend to throw in the towel anytime soon - despite what you will have heard from the doom and gloomers - or those who blame everything on Brexit!! Also, in the long term loss-making is not the aim of the game - you may be confusing with previous owners? Too many on here would be better employed encouraging rather than complaining and having words with those who seem intent on causing trouble.

So tell us Topper - where and how much is money spent? - only a couple of months and we will be able to see how right you are! So come on, spill the beans -

Interest was accrued under previous directors but written off as and when. I don’t know whether Dwane will take, defer, or write off the interest, but it is not as if accruing interest is something only Dwane Sports are doing in running a football club I posted some figures from the 2016 accounts earlier in the thread and approx. £6.2m has been ‘loaned’ to BRFC by Dwane to pay outstanding loans, most likely Wonga and ex directors as part of the takeover

Nothing from anyone! It’s all guess work. They might go on to be the best owners we’ve ever had or the worst we don’t know yet. But I’ve been told plenty of times I’ve got my head in the sand for having that attitude. Makes me laugh.

My post wasn’t hypothetical what if nonsense at all, it was a ‘what if question’ of what may happen. Nothing wrong with asking questions.
