The one positive thing I can give to Byron Moore is that he is someone the youth players can look up to and think "if he can make it as a pro footballer then anyone can"
Literally stealing a living.

He must be taken deep into Mordor and cast back into the fiery chasm from whence he came

Maybe I'm heartless, but it has been 4 years since the tragic event unfolded. Whilst the circumstances are unpleasant, we all have to deal with it sooner or later and at some point come to terms with it, put it behind us and move on. If I had underperformed for 4 years after a family tragedy in my job I'd get the sack. Byron Moore read this post. ...and yes. I was cheering him on this evening. What a shift. Next Ellis please

Byron was superb when he came on tonight, fair play to him. He must be low on confidence but you certainly wouldn't have known it. Great shift from him.

If he reads the forum then he'll know that most people want it to come good for him...would be great if this was a turning point in his form as he has ability.

Looked very sharp and extremely versatile tonight, great to see. Have to say players usually reward DC at some point, tonight was hopefully the start for Byron. Good on him!

I dont believe he will get another contract at rovers but i hope he gets a decent league 2 club and gets his football career back on track before its too late. something in my waters says he’s gonna prove us wrong this second half of the season but too little too late imo! knew it lol

You wonker, great assist from him tonight which won us the game. I don't give a f what about anyone's opinion of our players if DC and his team think someone has something to offer us then I've got their back. Likewise Nichol, it's a team game and we are apart of that team, support our players for fook sake.

Moore can come on as a straight swap for Bennett, as he did on Saturday. I wonder if DC will "trust" Mensah again as a late sub after the Shrewsbury goal. I’m sure Mensah will again eventually but the fact that Moore got the nod ahead of him in the very next game after the mistake has to says something, for now I think that may have edged Moore ahead of him, just have to see what Moore does with it You and topper were right without a doubt.

I really think moore is a good professional who trains hard and gives his best otherwise dc wouldnt have him in the squad. Hes had a good career and port vale wanted him to stay but he decided to play for us. It hasnt gone well for him at rovers mostly but to say hes stealing a living is unfair imo. Lets hope he can kick on from tonight.
