Byron was excellent while he was on, looked comfortable out wide on the right and helped stop them getting at Parts so easily. He showed good strength and picked out Sercs, who dummied for Lines peach of a goal, didn't just cross it in the box. Hope there is more of the same to come.

Just got back and agree with what people have said about tonight. Lots of good control, ability to beat defenders and his assist for the winning goal oozed class. Well done to him, I suspect he likes February, istr last Feb away at Bolton he scored and was one of the best players on the pitch. Let’s hope he can carry it on into March and April. UTG!

Stealing a living by giving us much needed assists, I think I'll live with that. I really think moore is a good professional who trains hard and gives his best otherwise dc wouldnt have him in the squad. Hes had a good career and port vale wanted him to stay but he decided to play for us. It hasnt gone well for him at rovers mostly but to say hes stealing a living is unfair imo. Lets hope he can kick on from tonight. It was a bit of quality for the goal and a good shift when he came on. If BM can 'do an Ellis' for us in the last few games and the start of next season, it's another win for DC's faith in his players. Let's give BM as much support as we can - get his confidence fully back. Could be as good as a new signing if it works out.

Lol. Sniff.... I smell humble pie. Based on what? 20 mins last night and a game at Bolton last season? I'm pleased for him, he played well last night. Hopefully we won't have to wait another year for a repeat performance.

Did laugh at the chant of 'How sh** are you we're bringing on Moore' but fair play to him he should everyone what he can do. Trouble is we know what he can do but now need to see it consistently in every game he plays

In fairness to him, he definately.changed the game in our favour, as did Bennett and Bola. A lot of good interpassing involving all three and seemed to wake everybody else up, in the team and the crowd.

I was both surprised and impressed in equal measure last night with Moore. Showed what we all know he is capable off but he now needs to show it over 90 minutes and a run of games. Fingers crossed last night was a turning point for him as this could be like a new signing.

Not being cynical or anything but it’s funny how he has woken up now when his contract is up at the end of the season 😜

Hats off to those of you who felt he had that in his game.

Whilst BB was with us Byron was never going to get a look in on the right wing which I believe is his preferred position.
Perhaps the negative of BB leaving can bring a positive in terms of providing an opportunity for Byron to shine. Would absolutely love him to prove all the doubters wrong....myself included tbf!

BM has always been a better player on the right. DC has played him mostly on the left, wanting him to cut-in. That's clearly not his game.

The one positive thing I can give to Byron Moore is that he is someone the youth players can look up to and think "if he can make it as a pro footballer then anyone can" Literally stealing a living. You wonker, great assist from him tonight which won us the game. I don't give a f what about anyone's opinion of our players if DC and his team think someone has something to offer us then I've got their back. Likewise Nichol, it's a team game and we are apart of that team, support our players for fook sake.
No need to be abusive.
BM needs to do that on a far more regular basis to even level up what we've paid him since he joined.
I do support the players at the games, a forum is a place to air concerns though isn't it?

Sorry if I hurt your feelings but I construed your remark as abuse towards one of our players, fair point about this being a forum but I’d been on the sauce and was reminded of the moans, groans and verbal condemnation of Moore when he was brought on. For what it’s worth in substituting an A for an O I thought I was being a little playful.

Let's hope he can produce this week in week out.

Yep as soon as he came on but very soon they were singing his name which was great as his performance deserved it - well done BM you played a major role in us winning that game .

I don't think it was abuse towards Moore but merely highlighting the fact that he has done very little during his time here, which I don't think anyone can argue with, and the fact he is on the bench at best, DC was perhaps thinking the same?
In a way he reminds me of Jake Gosling, you know they have more than they are showing but ultimately you have to wonder if they ever will produce the goods regularly.
James Hunt had the odd good game as well, I think..
