This is an interesting video. It covers a two-month period, and tracks NGO ships that are 'rescuing migrants' in the Med. What is interesting is how close they go to the Libya shore to 'rescue' them. "Human traffickers contact the Italian coast guard in advance to receive support and to pick up their dubious cargo. NGO ships are directed to the “rescue spot” even as those to be rescued are still in Libya. The 15 ships that we observed are owned or leased by NGOs have regularly been seen to leave their Italian ports, head south, stop short of reaching the Libyan coast, pick up their human cargo, and take course back 260 miles to Italy even though the port of Zarzis in Tunis is just 60 miles away from the rescue spot." There is a solution to the migrant crisis - stop bombing the middle east, although this would actually appear to be part of a plan...

You will not find much support for suggesting that the western alliance and its actions have caused much of the mayhem in the Middle East and Africa. I agree with you

Um...the migrant issues in the Med are mostly involving African's, and nothing to do with the Middle East.

Um...the migrant issues in the Med are mostly involving African's, and nothing to do with the Middle East. Libya is part of North Africa, and considered part of the Arabic World, but not the Middle East. However, former US Secretary of State John Foster Dulles defined the Middle East as "the area lying between and including Libya on the west and Pakistan on the east, Syria and Iraq on the North and the Arabian peninsula to the south, plus the Sudan and Ethiopia."

I couldn't give a monkey's about the views of Dulles, but the North African coast (Tunisia, Morocco, Libya) has never really been considered as the Middle East.

I agree with you I think you will find more people are waking up to the fact that we should keep our noses out of arab and african countries, you can't dictate that the western way of life should be the model for the whole world. It's time we stopped wasting the lives of our servicemen and women just because another puppet won't toe the line.

Hugo more than half in reality It's high time we stopped forcing our so called superior morals on other countries ,it matters not a jot what they do to each other it really isn't our problem until it directly poses a threat or danger to our way of life, Those quotes parrot put up is something i've been trying to get people to see europe for what it is ,a totally ruthless cash run machine that want control over everyone whether you like it or not formed by those very people we and others went to war with(yes i know people cant accept that idea but remember german money was plentiful after the war and who runs europe now). The money we give away in overseas aid should be spent here on council housing ,a fraction of aid money that never gets to the people it's intended to help ,would eradicate homelessness in one fell swoop , i dont give a toss who is in power at the time all political parties in the uk have dodged the housing issues continually. Hugo here's the real answer to the in god we trust quote on the dollar. Attachment Deleted

The vast majority, (I guess about 95%) of terrorists or corrupt regimes around the would, use weapons from either Russia or China. Nobody seems to criticize Russia or China for arming these idiots. Saudi Arabia are shooting down missiles that are indiscriminate in their targeting in that they could land anywhere in Rhyiad. The Saudis use US weapons systems to stop these missiles, which are supplied to the 'rebels' in Yeman by Iran. Yet we, the West, are criticized for supplying weapons to the Saudis. Surely they have a right to defend themselves, or should we just let Iran supply missiles that land in civilian areas of Saudi cities?

Interesting news emerging that the people smuggler's actually notify the Italian and Maltese Coastguard as to when and where the 'migrants' will be at sea. This is to enable the coastguard to alert the 'charity ships' as to where they have to go to pick up the 'migrants'. The charities are in effect, part of the people smuggling ring!

If you stop supplying weapons to the Saudis, then the Yemeni will just bomb them. If both sides want to kill each other, let them carry on, and earn a few bob from it. If we don't, the Russians and Chinese will.

That's bad Pirate. That is not Johnson saying anything, it's just someone writing what they think Johnson is saying, but presented in a way as to make it look as though they are Johnson's words. It's just propaganda.
