I think you did stu ,hasn't that been tried for yonks and still going on ,it's a difficult thing to try and do as we force western ideas to cultures that live in an entirely different way than we do ,that works doesn't it especially as it also slowly kills of those cultures identity and traditions.

Look at the f**k up things like live aid caused ,those families in other countries have large families for a reason (it's never good to lose a child) ,geldof and his merry men go in flashing ,food ,tools ,money around ,people think hey good job i can sleep at night, the reality is they need to learn that as more food is available and survival rate go up ,they need to have less kids as eventually the cycle repeats itself ,unfortunately now theres say twice as many people to feed ,so in effect it just gets worse and worse.

If countries like ours and the so called rest of the developed world can't look after ourselves properly ,what does it achieve throwing our standards at countries that have survived until we interfered ,again why invest money in countries that have their own space programs.

Not being coldhearted just looking at the reality of things, the west could learn a thing or two from these countries (yes i know it's not all roses around the front door) as in the way families come first over there
