And if that doesn't work call it best of three? What about a game of paper, scissors, stone? In all seriousness the public had their vote on the broad principle of whether we felt we should leave or remain and that should be the end of our involvement. The public are not qualified enough to decipher the complexities of what will no doubt be a huge and complex set of terms (obviously including myself as a racist thicko). We have to trust the elected government to get the best deal possible and go with it although a cross party task force may have been preferable? The public weren't qualified enough to decipher the complexities of being a member of the EU either, which is why we're in this clusterfuck of a situation called Brexit in the first place I don't agree. The truth, the reality of the choice either way, was not put forward by either side of the debate. If it had been, I trust the electorate to make a reasoned choice. If my views are on the losing side of the argument so be it. This has not happened, we were lied to by both sides and now as reality bites the truth is clouded by those either ideologically driven or desperate to cling to power. Don't let them get away with it

So immigration causes rising crime and sexual assaults in Germany but immigration does not cause knife crime in the UK? Wasn't it suggested earlier that the EU allowed waves of criminals to enter the UK so we needed to leave the EU? Now you are arguing that that's not the case? It has in Germany,Italy and Sweden as they have taken millions of people with warped beliefs, values and customs in a short space of time.Hence the welfare bills rising sharply where these people have settled.Rape and sexual assaults have risen to frightening levels. The UK wasn't the first point or second point of call for those people they are still raping and pillaging their way through mainland Europe so you are wrong Brexit has nothing to do with the rising knife crime in our country. Rising knife crime is probably down to the politically correct chief constables who have told officers not to stop and search the people who are more likely to carry knives for fear of being branded racist by people who think like you and Oldie. Please dont tell me what I think, especially when you are wrong. I have no issues with stop and search and agree it should be continued.

Wasn't it Trump who started this crap about Germany being ravaged by crime due to immigration? Only for Merkel to slap him down and point that crime had declined year on year.

But your wrong on Brexit can be countered by someone who is right. So far the doom and gloom predictions from remain like the emergency budget, armageddon world war3,the pull out of London within weeks by huge finance companies relocating to Frankfurt have been groundless.
Instead growth has been steady, investment is still coming in.Huge corporations are still relocating to the UK regardless of hard or soft Brexit.
Yes markets do not like uncertainty but a dithering prime minister being bullied by an arrogant EU, remainers throughout the civil service the BoE The house of Lords and the establishment have made things difficult.
As suggested there should have been a cross party delegation carrying out the wish of the referendum result in a sensible business like manner.
In hindsight we should have had a referendum on the Maastricht and Lisbon treaties then we could have left the EU before we were so deeply entangled in it.We are now seeing how very difficult it is to escape.

Yet you had to add that some British people don't work Never paid into the system but claim benefits. Are you now denying that you wrote that? No, I said that British people should also be subject to more robust benefit checks. British people are subject to robust checks and it seems the ones that really do need benefits ie:disabled people who cannot possibly work and support themselves and the like are not getting the benefits they should.

I agree with your second point, but not your first.

Are you suggesting violent people from a violent culture with a blatant disregard for women with those values installed in them from birth arriving in Germany in their millions and the rise in violent crime and rape where they are present is just a coincidence?

Edit: rape in Sweden is at its highest ever and over 90% of the perps come from Islamic backgrounds....Like you said it must be a coincidence.

At the risk of repeating myself, we were lied to by both sides of the debate. Given the truth, the pros and cons of the debate over membership, I trust the electorate to make a reasoned decision. That has not happened

I think you have perhaps unintentionally answered more than the question I asked there and I don't think it enamours the credibility of your original statement nor your motive.

The electorate was being bullied and branded racist if they voted leave by many including the odious little toad Nick Clegg on live tv.
We are now being told that the Russians influenced the leave vote and that is total nonsense. The two biggest contributing factors as to why the people voted leave was the EU itself and the remain campaign. They both played a blinder in leave winning.

I think it was likely more to do with the anti immigration sentiment from the media and can I mention the, ahem, bus? I love that the we don't believe or trust experts part too because now the line is well I voted now the experts have to work out how to deliver it. Genius. Anyone got any actual ideas?

The bus only showed people how much the UK pay to the EU.There wasn't a single promise of all the money going to the NHS the remain campaign again made a pigs ear of the bus.
The official leave campaign skirted around immigration rather than tackle it head on.Nigel Farage who wasn't part of the official leave campaign came out with the poster that sent the left into total meltdown. The influence the poster had on people was negligible as the msm and remain camp played the completely worn out race card so much it is now worthless.
Immigration from the third world is something our last few governments have had control over but didn't have the stomach to confront.Blairs Labour government scoured the third world to bring future Labour voters to this country regardless of their disgusting values and customs.
When I went into the voting booth hand on heart immigration was way down on my reasoning to vote leave. My main concerns were the money we send to the EU with so little value for that money. The rules and regulations that hinder small business, the endless red tape,The CAP and the CFP that even the most ardent remainer on this forum couldn't argue is good for this country and its taxpayers. The billions we have had to pay in bailouts for stupid irresponsible countries that were not equipped in any way to dump their currencies and join the euro. The contempt the EU have shown us for nearly 50 years even though for every single year we were net contributors while the majority were takers.
The whole injustice of it all stinks and leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. The next step was going to be Germany stealing our permanent seat on the UN security council claiming it as an EU seat.I could go on and on about the billions the EU waste on just being the EU the way the rotten lot ignore referendums on their treaties and make nations vote again with veiled threats until they vote the way the EU wants.
The so called experts told us that we would be destroyed and left behind if we didn't join the euro. What makes them right now? The independent experts with no prejudice said the UK shouldn't join the euro and those same independent experts are predicting in the long run Brexit will be the best thing to happen for the UK and the EU.
