Tempting fate in that title but I have to laugh with them all running for the hills. I previously called Rees-Mogg a Neanderthal which upset a few. This is a far better description, and far more articulate.
"Truthfully.... invite @jacob_Rees_Mogg to be Brexit Secretary. Make him do it.
I'm serious. A short, sharp introduction to reality for that posturing, attenuated Dickensian mantis will kill this Dam thing once and for all."

What a complete and utter mess this Govt has created. What's more, the biggest advocates of Brexit have now sodded off and left us high and dry whilst they disappear and enjoy their vast wealth.
Great. Cheers.

Great. Cheers. Exactly. To be honest I have no issue with elected MPs challenging policy. But when they do so they must have the alternative ready to articulate. In the over two years they have had the opportunity to do so...silence, bar bravado and hubris

Where's Cameron? The complete tosser who instigated all of this? Chilling out somewhere. Where will that buffoon Johnson be in 6 months? Having a laugh with his Eaton chums no doubt. Party for the people? Yea right.

Gareth Southgate uniting the country (well, England anyway) in a way few of the current politicians could do.

Fancy so many people disagreeing with you. Astonishing.
Why don`t you move somewhere, where the unelected powers that be tell the people what`s going to happen, rather than ask for their opinion. You/we`d be much happier. Gaza would be good. I`d readily swap you, for someone who`d appreciate living in this country, warts and all.

You quote democracy, refer to disagreement within democracy, but advocate I move, for doing exactly that? 🤣🤣😂

Disagree about Gove as I think he was biting his lip before as a favour to his friend, David Cameron. When they fell out he was able to campaign. That desciption of Boris is spot on and could have been written at any stage.

Presumably if the result was the other way, you would expect Nigel Farage to stay silent and allow further integration. If someone disagrees then they have the right to say so. What we are seeing, in my view, is the reality meeting pragmatism. I said at the time of the Referendum we would have years of political stagnation followed by a watered down version of what we already have. Personally, I think we should have had a two stage referendum, the first to negotiate terms or stay and the second on the deal or WTO Rules.

They have a very narrow view based upon blind nationalism, as witnessed on this thread. I do agree with South Stand Ultra, the referendum campaigns' were an abomination, a plague on both their houses, and on their political parties. But particularly on Boris Johnson

Great. Cheers. And everyone thought voting leave was the answer when it was and is the making of our downfall. They all thought by voting out they could and would stick two fingers to the EU and we could do what we want without consequence which was never going to happen. Boris and Farage pedalled an emotional bandwagon based around immigration and now the ones who championed it are quitting over it. Teresa May, the one who back stabbed Cameron on many an occasion to get her day in the sun couldn’t run a beer up in brewery and in her attempt to be thatcher-esq, is making a real cats arse of negotiations and cannot influence her own thumb up her jacksy let alone politicians around her. But it let’s be honest, if Corbyn gets anywhere near number 10 we are properly in the 💩

If the vocal minority and serial protestors of this country had respected the majority vote and put on a united front we would have been better placed to get a good deal. The EU has used our lack of unity and bitter in fighting against us. Regardless of the overall outcome any short term pain will definitely be worth it in the long term - can't wait to get away from those power mad dictators and beurocrats and take control of our own destiny again.

You're blaming the remainers for the water poor and quite frankly shameful performance of the Govt for not getting a better deal on the Brexit? There was never, ever, going to be a good deal for us leaving. The EU won't and don't have to give us any deal whatsoever and who can blame them? Our own destiny, our future, is bleak.

I think what hes saying is that everyone should have been forced to change their minds plus/minus deserters should have been shot. Perhaps this is what you get when you make such a massive decision on such a narrow margin in a two horse race. It was probably inevitable. It's not as is the leavers enamoured themselves in their victory by warmly convincing remainers to their way of thinking. More like saying things like you lost snowflake get over it. Perhaps that also says something about the reasons many voted leave... Either way what a colossal f**k up. We are going to have to be very smart to work this situation to an opportunity from here I reckon.
