I assume other Div 1 managers agree with DC that he hasn't ready for our league, personally I'd have taken him over over Reilly but DC clearly knows best.
Assuming Beckford is still at Bury and fully fit they seem to have a decent strike force for Div 2.

I think he'll could get 15 goals in league and cup this season.
He knew where the goal is for sure and I think we've missed out on a useful player for whatever reasons.
Would not be surprised if he did not want to come to us given the lack of game time given to him last year by DC again for whatever reason.
When Stoke gave him a contract I thought they were seeking a fee but clearly not.

Really disappointing, from the limited game time last season, still seemed the closest we have had to a Cureton style striker. Our loss is certainly Bury’s gain.

There's obviously a reason why he's ended up in league 2 rather than 1.
