The referendum wasn’t wrong, the way it has been hindered by people who didn’t get the result they wanted is what’s wrong. If pointing out the contradictions, the lies, the reality is hindering, then god help us. I thought it was debate within a democracy. There is nothing to debate. The democratic vote was to leave so the nation should be united in getting the best for our country not trying to reverse a democratic vote because it didn’t go the way certain people wanted it to go. Certain Tory’s have shown there tendsncies alright. As for the Left well, we all know what they are all about and it’s not the best of British.

The Tories and Labour are equally split in their views on Brexit. Labour have an interest, as an opposition party, to make the Tories look bad in all this. Not very honourable, but that's politics. Lots of hypocrisy and I don't admire it at all. Corbyn is a major culprit here. He always supported Brexit, but against his principles pretended to be a Remainer. The Tories have an interest, as the government, to make themselves look good in this. But the infighting and the poisonous comments from Boris and Davis have scuppered any chance of that. Labour can do and say what they want in opposition. It's all a game and tactics. But the split in the Tories is directly affecting the EU view of how strong the UK team is. And at the moment, that would be "pretty weak".

Except they didn't, nothing, zilch. Just few statements. The same people who told us to believe Treasury forecasts was to be stupid as nobody can forecast economics 10 or 15 years in the future. They then forecast the UK economy would be better off by over a £trillion. You couldn't make it up. Rees-Mogg, Johnson, Davis et al all in attendance. This would funny, Monty Python style funny, if it wasn't so potentially tragic for our kids.

Pointless questions and nothing to do with this thread being about Brexit. Evasion Immigration was a key factor in the Brexit referendum. People voted because on this issue they want a government to restrict people entering the UK. So I ask again, who is best placed to determine employment need, the markets or the "government"?? Easy question

You know the answer as you work directly within a system whereby the market determines your employability regardless of national borders. Extend that opportunity to others.

I am not prepared to label everything Black or White, Left or Right etc as you seem to want to do. Life isn't like that. Are you aware that I am not arquing against you. I agree with what you say, except for the Open Borders.

You see I cannot argue for the free movement of capital without arguing for the free movement of labour. A free market is a free market and whilst an unfettered free market is the law of the jungle and must be resisted, capital and labour must be unfettered for the benefit of all.

The main difference is freedom of labour as opposed to freedom of people. This is a painful lesson that Merkel has only just learnt.

I love it when everyone agrees, although I'm not entirely sure that everyone agrees about what they are agreeing about,
