People are free to have digs at wael and family over various aspects, but he does seem like a very decent bloke. Don't think he'll bleed the club dry or leave us up the creek. He'll know how frustrated people are and work even harder to fix it I reckon. Attachment Deleted

Unfortunately, not impressed with DCs preparation for this season. We have a strong miidfield contingent ( he can't play them all), but if there are injuries we are pretty fragile at the back. The striker situation speaks for itself. Maybe he's got too embroiled in the coaching side and his strategic overview of the squad has been neglected a little. I hope his new "badge" isn't making him a little too big for his boots. It seems he's been preparing us for problems with a "don't blame me" inference

This pre season has been a complete shambles even by our usual standards of appauling pre seasons Look on the bright side- we're such a professionally run club now. It's costing us millions to be this brilliant at transfers, sponsorship deals and getting stands up in time for the start of the season. Money well spent by anyone's standards.

Don't u think that it's more a case of the low amount of the available salary that we paid rather that the transfer fee that is limiting us from who we can bring in? I definitely don't profess to be any expert on salaries, but I guess Harrison can't have been on that high a salary. So when we are attempting to sign players, many of whom would have to up sticks and pay for expensive housing in Bristol, we are unable to compete with many of our rivals. Paul I agree ,but, with the benefit of some hindsight it might have been better to have matched the salary offered to Gaffney by Salford and kept him would probably have worked out cheaper ! than the alleged 150k fee offered for booko

We are in a ******** mess, if he does not drop the “undrropables” we will continue to concede goals from every centre, we have no goals in the team, if things don’t change pdq then we will be at the bottom of the table before too long

D.C. will be gone as soon as he gets a better offer, he may go before. Talking to someone who spoke to him after the radio Bristol forum, they said he was very frustrated figure and very unhappy that he could not complete with the likes of the sh**. Harrison's sale was the last straw!! It is inevitable that he will go its just when! Watch the fan base go haywire then....

Gaffney should have been told "you can go when I get a replacement" but as usual with DC we lose players before we get anyone in..Where did the couple of months from fitness come from on the left back? Surely it is 3 weeks or the deal is complete nonsence however good he might be. If we now have to go to the loan market that means another 3 weeks of doing nothing and then rushing at the end. We really are crap when it comes to signing players and DC must take a portion of the blame.

I sense we'll be bottom on Saturday night anyway given that Accrington our usually our bogey team, it's how long we stay bottom is the worry!

The board need to make a statement as it seems the club has fallen to pieces and I’m hearing Tom gorringe has called in sick today. We’re missing stands, bars and now sponsorship money. Absolute joke

It must be great him knowing he's first choice CF at Salford

This "couple of months from fitness" is one of those throw away forum comments that has no foundation but will soon become fact! Bet I hear someone say "I heard he's out for a few months" several times on here in the build up to Saturday's game.

This reminds me of when Trollop was in charge. Started to lack ideas and stuck with his players that weren't good enough and couldn't do anything about it. No money to buy players and no one interested in Coming to us. 4 to 5 years is about right before a manager moves on. That time is now.

According to the other forum the Coventry Telegraph reported that Yoko was to become the Coventry third choice striker. If this is true then he seems to have very little ambition and perhaps content to be paid for sitting on his arse. I hope we are no longer chasing this third rate, low scoring striker. Whoever uncovered yoko needs to be have a word. We could and should be aiming for better.

Broadbent at 9 for sat play 442 we've got everything to gain! The reason I say this is because my daughter trains with the GFA and rather than the kids sticking to there preferred positions they expect a certain amount of differencial positional play . Example my daughter can play both wing back striker defensive midfield as well as the other kids doing like ways. Point being if kids can do this so can a professional football player. I believe we have done this before (Billy ocean) and others. In rovers hour of need it's well worth ago
