Gert lines from ticket office on to Gloucester Road. Shambles. Been in line 20 mins only moved 1/3 closer and the line has doubled in that time. Delayed kick off or a lot of people will miss the start or even just not bother. That's progress for you.  Up the Crazy Gang! |

I did wonder if this might happen. Although far more attended on Saturday (I assume?), I imagine a lot had ordered tickets in advance. Whereas tonight I would imagine many turned up on the spur of the moment or hadn’t bothered to order in advance. Waiting for the people in the ticket office to print off the tickets on Saturday did seem to take a while, which was fine with only half a dozen in the queue, but if hundreds were trying to do this then I can imagine there would be problems. Sorry if I'm being a bit thick, but does this mean that there is no cash at the turnstile any more? If that's the case then it will decimate the casual and less frequent fan. Seems a bizarre decision without the infrastructure in place to allow a very quick ticket window system.
That’s my understanding. Could be wrong though. Would still effectively mean POTD but just need to pop to the ground first for tickets before the pub! |

Biggest queue for tickets I’ve seen at any ground, if the club shop wasn’t selling them think I would’ve given up. A lot of people missed a trick with the club shop as it was dead. Could be worth noting for future cup games Whereas there were zero people collecting tickets. Surely enough of those knew in advance they were coming and could have bought one online? |

Decent game so far. Leadbitter gives us much more of an attacking outlet than the weekend. Matthews looks sharp though I think he mishit the corner we scored from.
