Until the match starts nobody but the manager and players know what formation were playing,its just 11 names. I hope all the posters mocking the selection come back after and hold their hands up and admit they were wrong if we win. Doubt it though. Why not say why you think it's a decent line up rather than just have a go at other posters? Anyway I will gladly eat humble pie as getting 3 points is all I want today. |

It’s not ‘mocking’ It’s a difference of opinion , I sincerely hope my opinion on today’s line up and formation turns out to be incorrect and I will gladly quote this if we come away with 3 points. |

He's right though every game we seem to have to go through the same ritual of the team selection being ripped apart before ko. Seems to me whatever lineup is selected is the wrong one. Would I have picked that 11 probably not but I don't see the point in the over the top criticism before they've even kicked a ball. |

Mackail-Smith and Akinfenwa up front for them - hope our defence are up for it today. Also hope Smith is ready for lots of crosses - prefer Slocombe really.

I just think people go way over the top blasting the line up and i find it laughable the way some posters vanish when the team wins or have a good run. Decent line up? Havnt seen enough of some of the players and ive already posted several times that im not keen on most of our defenders at league one level but they are all we have right now. |

Can't believe Nichols is starting, looks like We are going to have 2 telfords on the bench this season. DC just said on radio Bristol that Nichols looks good in training so deserves a place, that's fine but does he know it's Saturday afternoon DC is giving him rope to hang himself so he can get rid, hopefully before the end of the loan window but certainly by end of Jan |

Six months ago I would have agreed. I've always been a firm supporter of DC but I'm not so sure anymore. Hopefully he'll pull a few rabbits out of the hat but I'm not confident. Do you really think anyone could do better? He’s earned himself as much time as he wants to recover from bad form personally. Yeah we’ve started bad but it’s been 2 league games. Even if we were fighting relegation (I don’t think we will) I would still keep him to try and rectify it Don't forget our poor finish to last season. I'm not just making a judgement based on 2 league games. DC still has my full support but his decisions are getting more baffling. |

Despite not being fully on board with the selection of Smith and Craig, I'm glad that Matthews is starting. If it is a diamond, I think that might suit him even better.
