Can anybody suggest any good pubs to visit before the game? It's at the far end of a large industrial estate and there ain't much going on, I've been for a couple of pre match wanders around the locality and found nothing, defo no cultural hub for sure.... I think it's about a 30 minutes walk from the town centre.... They've got a bar onsite but I'm not sure if it was a 'we' weren't allowed in or a 'i' wasn't allowed in situation  |

There's a pub down the end of the industrial estate, about 10 mins walk from the ground, apart from that there's not a lot in the area at all!

Gas to win 2-1. I think it will be a much closer affair than when we last met them as the squad are still settling in. We should have enough quality to come through winners though.

Maybe I’m being super negative but I would take a 0-0 as something to build on. Another early goal against us will be unacceptable. We need to learn to switch on and manage games early on.

f**king hate Wycombe. Good luck today Gas. I feel indifferent to them tbh. Some small irrelevant club that try to fabricate a rivalry with us on the basis of events that happened 4-5 years ago because they have no local rivals to speak of. They play proper ugly football mind. They’ll be the weakest of the newly promoted teams this year I reckon so a real chance to get our season up and running today. |
