DC on the radio, no criticism of the defence but reassuringly we're going to learn from this and dust ourself down. How can he not be furious with such sh*te defending? Would like to think the public and private discussions were different.

As the crosser strikes the ball your son is standing on the penalty spot. When the striker heads the ball into the net he is standing over the penalty spot. Your son ran away from where the ball was going. If he had just stood there he would have been in the right place. As the crosser strikes the ball both the penalty spot and Broadbent are out of shot. Sure, but a split second later it's in shot.

Not Rovers worst performance but as usual not clinical enough up front and defence couldn't mark a bingo card, desperately need a dominant CB who can demand and organise a shoddy defence, i think Smith has used up all of his lives now, hopes Kelly gets another shot cos without being speculator the only defender who can hold his head up high

Given the run around by QPR reserves and not going to criticise the defence. The man has lost the plot. I await Saturdays after match comments with renewed interest, I only hope they don't come after Shrewsbury's first league win of the season.

We’re simply, not doing the basics right, we can’t defend, and our forward play comes to nothing. At present, we have no one who can score a goal, no defenders that can head a ball, and a goalkeeper, who couldn’t save his pocket money. Wael , if we don’t address it, you’ll take us down. SIMPLE.

We want our McCrystal back. The last defender we had who organised the backline and Lockyer for one was a better player with him before he left than he is now for sure.

We want our McCrystal back. He may not be Championship standard but he offers more than Craig or Broadbent and certainly knows how to organise the defence and bring out the best in Lockyer. We could do a lot worse but it won't happen as DC would have effectively have to admit he was wrong to let him go. So, no chance then.

Yes, and the crowds will drop back to 6,000 or less. Wael please note that's a major drop in revenue.

I watched McChrystal play last season and if he is the answer I'm not sure what the question is.

On the coach home. Calm down guys, thought we passed the ball well at times and opened them up on a few occasions. The difference tonight first half, was their left winger, very quick, skillful and direct. Felt a bit sorry for James Clarke, o, for a winger like that!. Admittedly we should have closed down the shot for the second goal better though. 3rd goal a cracking header, but allowed a free run. Kelly did well, technically a good player and can see a pass. Upson had a better game. Smith in my opinion was not to blame for the goals. We do however need 2 better quality centre backs. Bennett for all his skills rarely picks a good pass and the same with Ollie Clarke, yea, he can offer a bit of bite to the midfield, but we have to get Lines back in the team. Matthews technically a good player, Payne worked hard again. Looks like we are going to have to make do with what we have defensively, which is the main worry for me.
