I'm not going to waste my breath by putting anything negative on here as you all know what I will say Throw enough sh** against a wall and some of it will stick. You’ve been throwing sh** against a wall for years it’s all been falling off and now some has stuck. Well done you.

Truth is we have looked a poor team since pre season! With no quality! Blame who you want but if we do not improve rapidly we will stay in the bottom 3 come May! By the way no manager is going to walk out on a 5 year contract, and cannot see our owners sacking him because of the cost! D.C. has been working with his hands tied? Not many players would want to have joined us with no facilities, with no infrastructure etc plus no competitive wage structure! UTG Rovers till I die! I'm not so sure a league 1 player is too concerned about training grounds and facilities etc. Under Francis we trained on some pitches at Fry's which were used for local football teams. The chance to play in front of 10000 fans must surely be what persuades them, along with the wages. This is DC's first crisis. We should give him a chance to get out of it.

What a load of old bollix. The same 18 players will be named in the squad for the next match. It's the same bs every week perhaps this time he means a new manager will be the big change

Another tough game against Coventry next weekend. They beat Barnsley today. Struggling to see where the next win is coming from if I'm honest.

Just got home and all I can say is can any of our players go home to their other halves, and say they can be proud they earnt their living this week.
With the exception of the Bonham who made some very good saves, O Rielly actually showed some energy, I don't think any other could say yes. It was pathetic. No heart at all.
There are too many players no putting enough in, players hiding, upson sat with the back 4 passing sideways, lines has done F all this season, o clarke good last week abysmal this week. You could criticise them all.
I hope DC actually fires into them, get their heads and show some character, this early on in the season and let's be honest we are drawing and being beaten by very average teams. We are looking so poor.
The board need to be more vocal.as it's effecting the fan base, the players need to wake up as they are stealing a wage right now.

Trouble is there's no corners on a round table.

Trouble is there's no corners on a round table. That one is straight from the school of Darrell Clarke metaphors

'Not enough of them (the players) care about the club'...now that's a real worry.

'Not enough of them (the players) care about the club'...now that's a real worry. Exactly the reason why people who were big supporters of DC (incluidng me) are becoming disillusioned.
IF our manager is saying this, how are we supposed to feel. Those halcyon days are sadly becoming a distant memory
Is DC after a pay off? I feel awful saying that, but something isn't right

Just back home in Bristol and I still cannot believe how bad that was today. IMO with the exception of Bonham and Reilly, the rest were awful. Listening to DC after the match, it appears in in his opinion neither the old guard or the new players are up for it at the moment. It is worrying with so many players hiding and playing with no confidence, I just cannot see were our next win is going to come from. Big test against Cov next week, I am not holding my breath. Utg

Well DC could start by using Payne in the same way that he played for Shrewsbury, scoring 14 goals. I was not there today but is Payne expected to be a Matt Harrold? Perhaps he should contact his mate Paul Hurst and ask how to get the best out of Payne and Rodman.

It's the same bs every week perhaps this time he means a new manager will be the big change That’s not bullshit that’s one of our most successful managers in our history hurting like we all are that the team are absolutely crap at the moment and what you’ve got there is a man who is doing everything he can to put it right. I don’t agree with some of his formations and tactics this season but I quite often didn’t in our promotion seasons either, and he proved to us all ( except you and maybe one or two others who obviously don’t know a thing about our club or understand how he picked us up from the bottom and has taken us to where we are) that he got it right in the end then and trust him to get it right this season too. If he doesn’t and we don’t pull out of it then it doesn’t make you right it makes you wrong for all this time and then right for a couple of months and you can run off in to the sun set shreeking I was right I was right like a stupid little girl because you got what you wanted . Pathetic posts from you for years non stop and you jump on every defeat with some kind of glorious glee that even my sh** head mates find sickening when I’ve shown those posts to them. Your an embarrassment to our club.

Just caught up with DC interview after reading this thread first and thought I must have listened to the wrong one. Socrates summed it up perfectly he's being honest and the fact he cares imo shows through. Apparently for some the answer is simply to sack him & bring in a new boss which we all know is the best way to fix a bad run. Obvious ain't it, get rid & the new gaffer will wave a magic wand & everything will be fine.

You could pretty much guarantee that if they sacked DC on Monday we’d win our next game that’s the way football works isn’t it. But what then ?
