Boom! Well what a very pleasant and profitable birthday weekend that was! I think the waders did the trick. Quick shower now and then out right on it, well done Gas I never doubted you 👀. Oh before I go, Midland Midland give us a song Midland give us a song UTG! I wondered who that was in our end cheering their goal. Loving it 😁

I’m not a Nichols fan, at all, and today he did his usual, run about, attempt to head a few balls and miss, get knocked about and didn’t create anything. I don’t think he even had a shot himself, but somehow, Payne was even worse when he came on. He looked so unfit, didn’t chase anything, didn’t jump for anything.
Both were terrible, just Nichols wasn’t so terrible as usual.

Ok hold my hand up for the second time this season he's got it right but I still can't understand why he changed the starting line up the big difference on last 2 games is having the beard back long may the beard reign So we all pretty much hope your holding your hand up for the rest of the season then mate. UTG 2 wins from 9 games is still not good enough to save him let's see how we are doing by Christmas and let's see if there really is a father christmas

Although I wanted to see the Jak start, I did feel that TN and GR could work. It did, given Robins likes to play from the back the pressure those two put on was fantastic.
No one can defend the goal record of TN but that was a good game.
But let’s also look at others:
- Sinclair, led by example felt his commitment had an infectious affect on the others.
- Ollie Clarke, wow! What a performance. Toni Kroos wouldn’t have got near him today.
- Benno worked hard and dug in.
- Kelly. In the first 5 mins got done and I was fearing the worst. But he stayed at it. And did well. Second half, he was targeted. They put a second winger at right back to really give him a test. But he stepped up and made no mistakes.
- Craig, went long and early, receives far too much criticism on here. Fantastic.
- Locks, brilliant.
- James Clarke, great stuff.

Not going to the game. A long while ago I booked a long weekend in Poole. That where me and Mrs Scoobydoo are now. It's watering down and forecast says we've got this all weekend. Our outdoor plans are ruined so she says we'll have to find summat to do indoors. My first suggestion was meant with a frown. My next suggestion was pop to Brighton vs Tottenham. I haven't received a flat no to that yet. But I can't sit in a bloody caravan all day cos I'll go mad. I don't know the area around Poole so do any of you have any suggestions of indoor places that I can take Mrs Scoobydoo to? You will just have to stay in Scoob and smash her back doors in, doggy style obviously. I put that to Mrs Scoobydoo and she said "hey, that's the same as your 1st suggestion". And I didn't get to Brighton vs Spurs. I got dragged round a bloody shopping centre. Deep joy!!

You say let’s wait until Christmas I say let’s wsit until we’ve all played 46 games. If the season finished at Christmas we’d still be in the conference.

"the point is we have 2 wins from 9 games which ain't a great ratio and suggests it is all likely to change next week and we go back to losing ways."
So going by your logic, we shouldn't have won today? I mean, 1 win in 8 games priar to today, means we shouldn't have won today..?
If we had won our first game, going by your logic, we would have won this league with 20 odd games to go.
Shouldn't is a very ridiculous word- 1 win in 8 means you are not likely to win your next one, just as 1 league goal in 50 appearances means you would be out of your mind to put money on Nichols scoring in the next match because whilst not impossible it is certainly not likely!
LOL, you just made my point!
"1 win in 8 means you are not likely to win your next one"
Yet we did..........
Shouldn't win & not likely win both mean the same.

Thought it was a good game however Broadbent needs to play we were very vulnerable in the air from set pieces, against a team that themselves were not very tall. . We need a greater presence in central defence

Nichols was a 6 out of ten but Payne was a 1

Ollie player of the season so far, developing into a superb player
Bizarre cameo from Payne, he could barely get off the floor

He’s gradually rebuilding and players coming back into the side from injury. We will start seeing more of a DC team. We are still a centre half, a winger and striker short of being anywhere near decent enough to trouble the top 6 but today was much improved. Bonham is a good Edition, sincs is looking good. Kelly has had a good couple of game and is growing in confidence, Reilly took his goal well. It’s all positive.

Could have been 2-0 down from poor defending of set pieces within the first 10. Great turn around by Rovers to lead 2-0 in 20 mins then Ollie capped a mom performance with a great goal. Payne awful awful awful and should have been substituted himself. There is no way I would start him next match because he doesn't deserve to wear that shirt with that pathetic display

We got the blocks in, it was scrappy, but it was committed. Bonham pulled a worldie but otherwise he was actually pretty untroubled.

My criticism is the free headers in our box we allowed in the first 10 mins

Payne, Nichols and Craig awful. Reilly and Jak need to be top 2. Sincs is the battery of the team. 3-1 win but never did I feel confident. Parts and Sercs needed and played correctly. 3 points. UTG!!! I thought Tommy Locks and Big Tone did well today, once we'd survived the opening 5 mins. Seems that Craig will never please everyone I guess.

Could try Tower Park, cinemas and inside stuff or pop over to Bournemouth (20 mins) and go to Westiver road area, near the beach lots of inside stuff over there. Tbh been raining here all day, bad luck! UTG!

We are in desperate need of some height in our squad. Coventry has so many free headers today it was unreal.
Tony Craig just doesn’t jump either. Even a win today does not hide the fact that against a decent set of strikers we could’ve had a different result.

My criticism is the free headers in our box we allowed in the first 10 mins To be honest I don’t think that was quite the case. Also... Coventry had 60 mins of knowing that they needed 3 goals, they only managed 6 shots at Bonham during that time. And the defence should be pleased with that.
