First game I've enjoyed watching all season. Not only for the result but also the way we played.

Nicholls is a boy playing a man's game. Lightweight and moved off the ball and blocked from making runs far too easily. Just like Luke James. He needs to be moved on because I can't ever see him improving. You just know that if he'd had Reillys chance he would have missed.

Thought Coventry played ok; they passed the ball around nicely but time and again they had to go backwards because we were pressing them.

Wholesale changes next week then, except for undroppable Nicholls and Craig.

Fair point. Statistically though, I would argue we have tightened up defensively over the last few games. That may be down solely to Bonham's shot stopping, or possibly the confidence that a more commanding keeper gives his defenders, allowing them to concentrate on their own performances. Either way, we are conceding less and it therefore would be a brave shout to split the centre half partnership now.

For all that I rate Tony Craig though, he may not play regularly next season and surely not the next. Darrell's challenge is to find that long term replacement, whether he is in the club already or not.

I don’t think it touched him, Reilly did more of the work muscling out the recovering defender following his awful attempt at control and a clearance.. You can hardly call it an aaaisr.
