1 Nationalisation. No, it's costly and a waste of resources. Franchising and operators relationship with infrastructure investment needs to be rethought though 2. Share schemes...blah. Ignorant comments by the Labour party. Any half decent employer has profit and performance related bonus schemes. I would like that to be tax incentivised by having a lower tax band on approved schemes. 3. Brexit. You know my views, so the leadership in Labour water me off. But Starmer delivered a good speech today Your answer to number 2 makes little sense as when Labour last got in one of the first things they did was scrap prp (profit related pay) which cost me over a grand tax free every year a bonus that went a long way to paying for our summer holiday that with ramping up NI so it was almost on a par with PAYE tax and the fuel hikes after the first year of New Labour I was over 4k worse off than I was under the tories. I wonder who created the New Labour project.

We're going off topic. Once again I ask, why the mainstream media say nothing about the rise of the Far Left, which in many peoples opinion, based on the last 100 years, is actually more destructive than the Far Right ! The Far Left is just as despicable as the Far Right, why are they not vilified?

But, he is in a party with a broad church of members. The vast majority of their MPs are not hard left. On the streets you do not witness demonstrations by the left vilifying immigrants. Or, killing MPs, or running vans into people leaving Mosques. Maybe that's why.

Interesting how you ignore the 10's of millions of people world-wide who have been killed by the Far Left and instead concentrate on one sick individual who killed an MP. What is the saying, something like, "one death is a tragedy, but a million deaths is just a statistic'.

Once again Someone disagreeing with you does not make them idiots, anymore than voting Leave makes you an idiot. But I would contend that voting Leave was nonsensical.

So, why is the Right Wing vilified (Nazi scum etc), while the Far Left is given a free ride? Let's not forget, that historically, the Far Left, with their economic policies and ideology, have killed millions upon millions of people.

We have not had a fascist left or right government in this country, thankfully. So comments on the behaviour of those who hold those fascist convictions, left or right, can only be based upon actual activity. That activity has been confined a small but committed nasty right wing element. As already stated.

Good article here on this topic. Here’s how to beat the populists: stop talking about immigration | Natalie Nougayrède flip.it/RLSHgWYou mean stop talking about it. Bury your heads in the sand. Introduce legislation that will outlaw any opposing views. Force people to follow your way/views. Ensure that the 'people' don't have a voice that differs from that of the political elite. Yep, that'll work eh !

If you bothered to read it, it's an argument for NOT being acquiescent in allowing the extremes of left and right to dominate the topics under discussion.

It did make me laugh a lot.
