I really think Ellis papered over the cracks last season and now they have appeared bigger and wider. totally agree but would push it further than that because I think Bodin did the same.

What’s worse is that this time last season we had let in a lot more goals than so far this season so we were able to outsscore the opposition on many occasions by scoring 2-3 a game. Now we cannot even get one goal.

Other than not dusting ourselves down to the same old bollox , same excuses, and the same things we are going to put it right it's boring DC !

All we need is a couple of decent strikers who can score. The ones we've got couldn't score in a br*thel.

The defence has been carrying the team all season keeping us in with a chance in every game none having been lost by more than 1 goal. It’s difficult to say whether the dearth of goals is down to lack of creativity or lack of decent strikers.Having said that neither Jakubiak or Reilly seem much more likely to score a league goal on a regular basis As for Payne it’s difficult to see what he brings to the team.

Same old bollox from Midland as always. Bore off.
More seriously, I know Burton aren’t great but given where we are as a club did anyone really expect us to get anything away to these newly relegated clubs?
Think some realism is needed, Burton/Barnsley/Rotherham/Millwall in recent times all of these clubs have yo-yo’ed between this league and the Championship allowing them to build up decent squads. I don’t think we can go to any of them and *expect* a result.
1 shot on target again is an embarrassment but as DC keeps saying what can you expect selling your best attacking players every window. It’s like selling an F1 car and replacing it with a Fiat Panda yes it’s a car but it doesn’t do anywhere near the job required.
At this point I’ll be happy with survival and would snap anyone’s hand off for a 20th place finish. Season has been a total write off and we need to sort things out OFF of the pitch, if we want any progression ON the pitch.
We are a shambles behind the scenes and the sooner a sale is announced the better. A few licks of paint, electronic turnstiles (which will in time pay for themselves) and a new stand (funded by the sponsors) massively painted over the cracks that many still fail to admit. We are a non league club infrastructure wise and falling more behind every season. Mansfield, Swindon and whoever else are all cracking on with training grounds and the like, what have we got? An overgrown field. Enough said.

A few wins and the table looks totally different; trouble is you need to score to get wins and we always need to score to get anything when the defence always concedes.
Its amusing how DC always says he wants a right footed RCB and left footed LCB, yet when that actually matters in a full-back role he has right footed Clarke at LB. Not saying this is why we lost but one of many strange DC selections.

Listened to the radio for last ten minutes - I'd have Hamer removed from his radio duties immediately.
You can't have the Chairman talking about the team in a downbeat fashion.
His job should be to lead from the front.
He's crap at both!
Season starts in November with DC - fingers crossed.

Dont think your strikers could score in chasers on christmas eve, only positive i can take is we are not getting 4 or 5 put past us like last season, im worried but thankfully its early days and time to get sorted, relegation would be a step i dont think we would bounce back from, and lets face it where would the younger generation go? yeah ashton.

I didnt agree with Martin from the start but what about Kelly? Like I said I dont blame this on the defeat but just shows how hypocritical DC can be with some of his beliefs
