Mildenhall Leaditter/Lockyer Parkes Mcchrystal Brown Lines Mansell Sinclair Monkhouse Ellis Taylor That team would take this lot to the cleaners in my opinion. As would the side that won promotion from League Two. We have gone backwards in the last 6 - 12 months and unless we scramble enough points together between now and May we are in serious trouble. I'm a bit taken aback by this. I think you're right.

It's now more than 450 minutes since we scored a league goal!

I’d say that is natural with teams who have experienced success recently but have fallen on harder times, just ask Northampton who went from a team that demolished L2 to a poor L1 side very quickly. Our task now is to maintain the league position that previous teams helped us achieve so we can build towards getting a team that will make us proud once again in the future.

I didnt agree with Martin from the start but what about Kelly? Like I said I dont blame this on the defeat but just shows how hypocritical DC can be with some of his beliefs Yeah insists on his central defenders playing on their correct side and then plays every wide player on their wrong side. Don’t see how the central defenders thing is that important but playing our best central ball winner out wide is clearly a sh**e move but he doesn’t think so. As is playing a right sided defender at left back a right winger in the left and a left winger on the right. But a left footed defender on the right side of central defence oh god no that would be ludicrous!! Rapidly losing my patience with DC to be honest. Give him the next two games to show he’s learned from the many mistakes he’s making every game and if he’s sticking to this crap and we need someone else. Don’t know what those coaching badges have done to him. Thats not really fair as there are many examples of inverted or wrong footed wide players being very effective. Did you complain about billy bodin playing on the wrong foot? The portsmouth winger ronan curtis was clearly right footed and he seems to be doing fine. And of course players like hazard and messi cut in onto their strongest foot.

Two players who owe their big moves in large part to DC? Then after those big moves, for which we accepted far less than their worth, DC was in my opinion not backed to adequately replace them. He wasted circa £300k on the worst so called striker I've seen play for Rovers. Plus £200k on Stefan Payne.....Who isn't much better. I will always stick up for DC but don't think you can say he hasn't been backed. He's just spent it on dross. You can't argue with his ability to bring in frees, Taylor, Bodin, The Beard to name a few But spending money he's failed miserably imo You haven’t been watching for long off top my head in the 18 years I’ve been watching we’ve had weare, bubb, Thomas, akinde, Richards, rearden, Matthews and wall

In years of following Rovers, has to be the worst performance I've ever seen. Always been a DC backer, but changed today. Must be a watershed moment for our football club. Really? Wow. It wasn't even the worst this season!! Wait....we've been worse? We barely fashioned a shot at goal today- how can we have been more rubbish than that? It feels like being back to the bad old days of Ray Graydon when we would celebrate winning a corner like we had scored a goal.

I am not sure if Malvern Gas is saying yesterday was the worst game of the season he has seen or one of the worst games ever? So worse than loosing to Braintree, Altringham etc?

Like I’ve said on other posts Bodin was a class above and it worked , from what I’ve heard Curtis is a top player for this division and messi hazard , Ronaldo? When we played Bodin as an inside forward he usually had leads overlapping and we usually had a winger the other side and also brown who got forward. When we had Monkhouse as left inside forward we usually had a winger the other side and brown overlapping him. We still played with width in all these examples but this season there’s no width no balance and it’s very predictable. I’d like to see Rodman on the right as a winger to give us some width and perhaps have Bennet on the left as an inside forward cutting in with Kelly looking to overlap or something similar. That would be more in keeping with what DC has done in the past and has worked so well for us.

We certainly have a poor team - but I'm not so sure we have a team full of poor players. DC's team selection and tactics seems to baffle just about everyone including I'd suggest some of the players. I think you`re absolutely right. It`s a continuation of the tactics he learned from his old mentor, here at the Gas. Elliot Richards stuck out on the left wing, Dave Clarkson played in central midfield etc. Absolute waste of what they were good at.
We had the players to stay up then, and I believe we have now. I look from Clarke`s tactics to Ward`s and back to Clarke`s again, but already it`s impossible to say which is which.
