Don't understand the fuss. Hamer talked as straight as he could. I've got no problem with that. I guess you have no ambition of us ever progressing then. To be fair to SH there was no issue with what he had to say, just what he was actually saying. Ah, you got me there...clearly what I said. I just live in the real world. Have a nice day 🙂👍

I saw this aerial photo of it the other day, made me very depressed.... 17,250-capacity, £70m for the stadium and a partnership with another company for income-generating flats on the remaining land. Two year build, 18 months to go. You have to ask yourself if they considered adding a few tented stands to the design though. Bit boring otherwise methinks. Seriously though that is looking pretty awesome, and on a very constrained site by the look of it as well so hats off to the designers and the club for getting that across the line. Well played Brentford! What's frustrating is what real potential have Brentford got in the years to come as they are always going to be in the shadow of the bigger London clubs, whereas we have virtually unlimited potential given how N Bristol/S Glos etc area is expanding, it is now looking likely the UWE is well and truly dead. Why ever did the ALQ's get involved at Rovers it's so depressing.

Well I for one ain't spending a single penny more on them. Hamer is either lying through his teeth or they genuinely have no game plan. Bloke is a puppet.

If he is right then many on this forum especially the Itk'ers have talked complete nonsense. Time will tell.

I do applaud SH for finally admitting that the training ground is not going to happen. I have been telling people that it would not, as the owners had found out how much it was going to cost them, a fact now confirmed by SH. So the next question is, you said about the development of The Mem was to take place that a firm of Gloustershire consultants were too draw up plans. The question is "are we still employing them?"I thought they were working on The Colony plans, or was that just another smoke screen, as I doubt we ever really had plans to develop it once the UWE talks failed. It sounds to me the ALQ's pulled any further investment once the UWE talks ended, if so, why don't they just advertised that the club is for sale rather than let it die a slow death whilst costing them (or us?) a £1+ p.a.

My understanding was that the Cheltenham based consultants were engaged for the training ground project and not the Mem redevelopment.

What is the point of these Jordanians owning our football club as a business - I can see no long term future - just about confirmed in my mind by Hamer. As owners they're holding all the cards, all the assets and with seemingly little or no investment planned - they've probably spent/spending more on an office in London, an anonymous CEO and a Chairman (who I'm struggling to understand what fills up his day) - than they have spent on the Mem. The future is not bright and personally I think we will be better off playing in League 2 next season rather than being out of our depth and trying to punch above our weight in this league.

When I visited St Helier Jersey about 18 months ago I googled Dwane Sports to find out where they are based they are registered at 1Esplanade St Helier if you google 1Esplanade St Helier Panama Papers scandal you will find that the office where they are registered has been investigated,/conected to the scandal.

I am not saying the AQ are doing anything wrong but I do worry about what will happen when our debts reach the value of our assets are we being used to avoid them paying tax?.Will they then sell the clubs assets to get their money back. Abramovich at Chelsea has the government on his back they took his passport away.

Again, how is this different from the Higgs era? I would say £6 million more debt and one more tent.

Did anyone catch if we’ll be spending any money in January or not?

Did anyone catch if we’ll be spending any money in January or not? He said money was available if required but would not say any would be definitely available

I liked his Chelsea analogy. Queuing at a stinking portaloo for a p&ss I thought “this must be what Chelsea fans have to put up with every week”

I lived in Jersey between 1975 and 1980 and am going back for five nights next week, subject to Flybe still being in operation. There are many addresses in St Helier, manly Advocates offices that on the outside have numerous small company plaques indicating that a company is registered at that address. You cannot read too much into this as it is mainly used for Tax purposes and is usually used by companies/individuals to place their overseas earnings in accounts in Jersey. How this relates to BRFC I have no idea, perhaps Dwayne Sports have interests other than BRFC that involves overseas earnings. PS - I am NOT going there for anything to do with BRFC, before anyone asks.
