Watched on ifollow as I couldn't make it in person today and I wish I hadn't bothered. A shocking display. Long ball rubbish. We need signings...and quick. Why there isn't any new players in the building already is a disgrace as far as I'm concerned. FFS Pull your finger out Wael and provide the manager with the necessary funds !!!

Also the problem all season has been scoring. A striker should have been lined up to join us at the start of the window REGARDLESS of budget or who was in charge. We have a head of recruitment now and the board should have tasked him with finding a striker. Even if it was a free transfer on a tenner a month and he was total dogshite at least the effort would have been made. Yeah the HoR is committing career suicide at the moment by presiding over this shambles. Even taking a punt on one of the lads on Wes's wishlist would be a sign of some intent. Instead all concerned are sat on their thumbs as we sleepwalk into relegation. |

I'm sure he will be asked about it today, be interesting to hear if his tune has changed or he tries to give it the old "dust ourselves done" like nothing is fundamentally wrong. |

Massive disappointment.
We're hugely reliant on a piece of individual talent to score goals, that only comes with confidence of which, we have next to none.
When's the last time we carved a team open and laid a ball on a plate for a striker to tap in from 6 yards. It hasn't happened at all.
The strikers aren't good enough, the midfield isn't good enough.
We need 4 or 5 players in, and I imagine several out. What will the reality be? I imagine it will be to push with what we have, and therefore, league 2 beckons.
We've made mistake after mistake in terms of recruitment. Summed up by giving GC a 2.5year contract as opposed to a deal until the end of the season which he deserved.
My question is, if we do get Relegated, will anyone have the same faith in GC to get us back up, as they did to keep us up this term when they lauded his permanent appointment.

People on the radio blaming the strikers need to get a grip, our midfield is the issue.
When all you have to offer is Tony Craig playing long diagonals to James Clarke you know you’re doomed.
At the end of the game we had Rodman and Matthews tucked in with Jak, with Reilly running around like a headless chicken. Lines and Clarke sat back deeper than Lockyer at times, just hoofing it out of play. Truly Dam useless. If this is all GC can muster then we’re in for a shocking 2 1/2 years. Madness to give him anything more than till the end of the season to prove himself.
Yes the players might not be good enough but that Wycombe side were there for the taking and we couldn’t complete a 5 yard pass. From the off we had two CDM’s with no width. We were crying out for a Sercombe type player and to go back to the 4231 with width that had been serving us so well, but oh no, we’re YET AGAIN selling our best player in the January transfer window.
Until we get this current board out we will continue to offer nothing and will become a bog bog standard league 2/non league club.

If all is true there was offers to buy the club, so they could have paid their wages. When we were doing well Wael was everywhere now we are absolutely sh** he is nowhere to be seen, says it all
