Good to see members of the defence getting shredded after a nil nil.
The defence hasn't really been a problem all season!

Haven't seen the game but sounds like we were under the cosh for large periods. Positives to take, a clean sheet another point on the board & 3 (4 with goal difference) clear with a game less to go. How many of us would have taken this position when DC left ? I certainly would have.

Defence has never been the problem, but our lack of width has all season, more worryingly on today’s performance, I’m more worried about most of our players not being able to pass 5 yards. Kelly looked like an U10 in men’s football, and sercombe looks absolutely finished??. How lines can’t even get 10 mins in today’s showing is an absolute mystery

How lines can’t even get 10 mins in today’s showing is an absolute mystery No coincidence that this is the first season lines has hardly played and also the first season we’ve struggled to create chances all season. I realise he’s getting on but he’s still capable of playing killer passes and if the plan was to not use him this season then another playmaker should have been brought in in the summer or January. You can’t drop your top assists player for the last four years all season without bringing in a replacement and expect to still create chances. Not playing lines and then not playing Nichols either makes the lack of creativity even more so.

We looked inferior to Coventry because we are inferior to Coventry!we were for large parts of the home game against them though we won it 3-1!but what we lack in quality we make up for in fight, grit and determination and those qualities will keep us in this division and give us a chance of a revamp of squad for next season. From what i have seen of the likes of Rochdale,Wallsall, Wombles and co they all look more pleasing on the eye than us but we are managing to keep our noses in front ,just!due to our spirit and the superb performances of the back 5, to come out of that today with a clean sheet is amazing and it is these kind of points which will keep us up. We now have 3 tough games ahead and a lot of fans see them as easy points , not me, whereas Bradford should be beaten ,the other two will be very tough to win,Rochdale still have a game in hand and have been here before and survived , and Wombles have given themselves every chance of rescuing a lost cause. Would love 5/6 points from the 3 games but dont be surprised if we have to settle for 4, and may be needing a point or two from last 2 games, which we will get! Hold on tight Gas Eds ,this aint gonna be very enjoyable but the ending will be a happy one !

Worst home form in league 1 suggests we might get a point or two if we’re lucky.

Kelly may be one for the future but what he’s doing in the team is a mystery.
We barely had an attacking threat today and they missed a few. Very happy with a point, UTG

Another positive, our diamond game & severe lack of width won’t be any problem away at Wombles. That tight pitch is perfect for what we’re all about in this relegation scrap.
Let’s Relegate Bradford first & then onto Kingsmeadow.

Very happy with a point, UTG Think that's a bit harsh on Kelly, a full backs first job is to defend, we've kept a clean sheet so he's done that part. With Holmes-Dennis out its a choice between Kelly in his preferred position or play someone else out of position, it's his first full season I'd say on the whole he's done pretty well.

We absolutely must win next week after today's game. We need to increase the difference points between us and those bottom 4 asap. Need to be home and dry before last couple games of the season.

I agree we must win but I honestly don’t think we will. We’ve won four home games all season and we’ve got the worst home record in league 1. Possibly even the whole league. I think we’ll draw v Bradford which will probably leave us 2-3 points clear this time next week.

Rovers are bottom of the home table with 18 points Bradford are bottom of the away table with 13 points
I think we’ll win by 2, one in each half.

Just back from the game.
We could and should have been 2 down at least by half time. We looked a bit better in the second half and created a couple of half chances but a draw was a positive outcome. Against a better side, we would have been put to the sword. I don’t think Upson or Ogogo are good enough. Both too slow on the ball and lacking creatively. Sinclair was busy and made a few good blocks and tackles but he is limited at this level. Kelly isn’t good enough yet in my opinion. Sercombe must play centrally.

Just back from the game......
Day light robbery on our part.
James Clarke best player on the pitch by far
Sercs was shocking as was ogogogogogogo
Looked a lot better when Jak and Tom Nichols came on
BUT............
What a fantastic Stadium complex, something we can only dream about.
