With May going at some point this year and Vince Cable stepping down after the European Elections, two of the three main UK parties will have new leaders soon. Add to that Corbyn has (anecdotally) repeatedly been seen as the reason for Labour nof being higher in the polls, we have reached Peak Corbyn.
Who could be the next leaders?
Firstly the Conservatives. So far the leader has come from the Cabinet or Shadow Cabinet. So take your pick:
Theresa May David Lidington Philip Hammond Sajid Javid Jeremy Hunt Stephen Barclay Penny Mordaunt David Gauke Matthew Hancock Damian Hinds Liam Fox Greg Clark Michael Gove Chris Grayling James Brokenshire Rory Stewart Jeremy Wright QC Amber Rudd Natalie Evans Baroness Evans of Bowes Park David Mundell Alun Cairns Brandon Lewis Elizabeth Truss Andrea Leadsom Julian Smith Geoffrey Cox QC Claire Perry Caroline Nokes
Add to that ambitious backbenchers such as Boris Johnson and Dominic Raab.
Personally I expect the two going forward to the membership to be between someone from the Eurosceptic wing and the 'one nation conservative' wing. If Boris is shortlisted then he will get it.
Obvious ones in addition to Johnson and Raab would be Javid, Hunt, Truss, Mordaunt, Gove, Leadsom and Rudd but keep an eye out for Rory Stewart and Matt Hancock.

Turning to Labour, I don't expect Corbyn to go soon, he will probably stay and fight the next election. Should Labour fail, then he will go and almost certainly be replaced by a woman leader.
It will be a fight between the Corbynist wing and the Blairite wing. Probably Yvette Cooper for the latter but either way I expect Emily Thornberry to get it, as things stand today.

I think the Tories are totally finished. Who is going to believe a word they say? Labour are also shot, but not as badly as the Tories. Once again, who will believe anything they say? When both parties publish their next Manifesto's people will openly laugh at them. A new leader for the Tories won't change anything. The Party as a whole has to take the blame for May. They have supported her, not removed her. This makes them complicit.
If May somehow gets her WA through with Labour support, the DUP will dump on her. It's not as though she hasn't been warned enough. She will also lose a lot of her MP's. This has to lead to a GE, which Labour want, but I think it will just unleash the Brexit Party.
In their current format, the Tories are finished.

Politics is being re-arranged in the UK. Any of the current Cabinet, forget about them. Any of the Shadow Cabinet, forget about them. Boris Johnson is yesterday's man. He would just be a reboot of the current politics. The local elections were just a ripple. Next will be the high tide of the EU elections, and the next GE will be a tsunami ! Sky News

Also British public - let's vote for Nigel the biggest one of them all He had a career before becoming a politician, so not a 'career politician'. and you are making the same mistake as the Democrats in the USA with Trump. Every time someone attempts a personal attack on him, it backfires. You miss the point completely. The current political set-up has failed. That is not just my opinion. The Tories main argument is "vote for us or you get Corbyn'. Labour say, "vote for us or you get the Tories". Well, it's time we had a third choice. People are fed-up of voting for someone based on the fact that they are not as bad as the other lot. The two-party political set-up has failed the country. It's time to change it.

However, when you look at the total ineptitude of the current set-up is it any wonder that voters are looking for something else? Seriously, by attacking Farage and the Brexit Party, are you saying that you are happy with the current set-up? Farage and the Brexit Party may not be the answer, but for the love of Christ, anything has to be better than what we currently have with both Labour and the Tories.

People said anything is better than what we have in America and voted for Trump
