People voted in the Tories and voted leave. So yes. *You walked into that one Blair? Go on, we know you voted for him.....more than once Heh heh. I did vote for him, but only once to be fair. I only voted Labour to get the Tories out. Always used to be a Liberal but stopped voting for them after they decided to join the Tories. True story.

sorry Farage already did lie about it. A lot. He also played very underhand. People are already starting to chant 'lock her up' and 'drain the swamp' at his events. Hes smart dont get me wrong, he has played everyone like a fiddle ensuring that if they deliver Brexit it will be seen as a betrayal and if they dont deliver Brexit it will be seen as a betrayal. But he was complicit he promised loads that never came true and then disappeared off the face of the earth after the vote whilst collecting his tidy EU wages. My question really I suppose is how on earth he is seen as the answer to the viable alternative they are searching for? Maybe people are looking at that dog sh** after all. Keep knocking him, and you'll keep missing the point He was not part of the official Leave Campaign so I'm not sure where the 'promised loads' and then 'disappeared' comments come from. Exactly. EXACTLY. This is exactly what I mean. Somehow anything awful that comes out about these people just gets ignored by their fans because it's not about principles is it. It's about saying f**k you to the establishment. Its populism. He can say and promise what he likes even if he has nothing to do with vote leave or the government or whatever. It doesnt matter because people will vote for it anyway because they dont truly give a sh** about principles the only principle they care about is two fingers to the government and all they say (even if some of it is moderate and humanist!) Case in point: vast majority want a better funded NHS no privatisation etc etc. Farage wants to privatise it. Do people still care now Nigel is involved? Do they f**k. They would rather ignore that and vote for populism. And that my friend is why this is all going to get much much worse.

Just reading now about how he regularly appeared on a far right talk show in America discussing the new world order associated with antisemitic tropes. Also just read the communist party are backing him and his party too. Thing is we hear all of this anti left rhetoric about Corbyn and whatnot but now we go off and vote for this guy? It's exactly like trump all that sh** about women and Russia and you know what, people that started by preaching principle soon abandon them once they find their demigod. They dont really care about all that. All is forgiven Nigel, enter us. It's just so depressing What on earth are you reading? Alex Jones his name was you can find the episodes online. Also the communist party has an official comms out (saw it on twitter)

Large chunks are already privatised. "This is exactly what I mean. Somehow anything awful that comes out about these people just gets ignored by their fans because it's not about principles is it. It's about saying f**k you to the establishment. Its populism." - Fine. Just keep voting for the staus quo then. If you're happy with the current set-up, then keep supporting it. It's your democratic right. Keep supporting the 'principles' shown by the existing parties.

My vote for labour goes to Lim Deb or green or whomever. That's my two fingers to labour but the Brexit party? Give me a break man

But when people stop listening or questioning and vote for populism instead, this all ends in a sticky mess I reckon

The fact that elements of the police, elements of social services and elements of local councillors, preferred to turn a blind eye to child rape, rather than run the risk of being labelled racist; THAT I find depressing.

I am entirely capable of being concerned about more than a single item at any given time. For example, right now my main concern is that my wife has said my apple crumble just isn't the same since I started making it with oranges.

First Hugo making his own sandwiches and now you making the Orange Crumble. Has the world gone completely mad? You are both making women redundant !

I see Nigel was doing a rather excellent job of impersonating most of our Leave supporting friends on this forum last night on QT. When asked a specific question on WTO he tried to evade and change the subject. Eventually the chair pushed him in to an answer. Full Mark's Nigel for honesty, but you are pushing a specific policy (leave, no deal) and you answer "I dont know"
Everything you need to know about this buffoon.

Of course Oldie, you wouldn't evade answering a question/questions on here, would you..?
