I see Nigel was doing a rather excellent job of impersonating most of our Leave supporting friends on this forum last night on QT. When asked a specific question on WTO he tried to evade and change the subject. Eventually the chair pushed him in to an answer. Full Mark's Nigel for honesty, but you are pushing a specific policy (leave, no deal) and you answer "I dont know" Everything you need to know about this buffoon.
Of course Oldie, you wouldn't evade answering a question/questions on here, would you..? If it's a genuine question on topic, not a rhetorical question about who said what. Try it. But anyway, the point is some on here are excited by the Brexit Party, some (most) could not answer equivalent questions as the one put to Farage. At least they have the dignity not to stand for representative office and milk it, like Farage.

Didnt want to answer difficult questions about things he has stood for in the past - what a snowflake...

Snow flake is accurate, but probably a bit kind.

This is one of the problems with the Tories, we've heard it all before. They should not be asking her to set a timetable, they should be kicking her out! Then again, I think it's too late for them now. They're a busted flush.

They don't deserve to be in Government for at least another twenty years....minimum.

Boris confirms he will stand and no timetable until after vote in June.
From the BBC:
Boris Johnson has said he will run for the Conservative Party leadership after Theresa May stands down.
Asked at a business event in Manchester if he would be a candidate, the former foreign secretary replied: "Of course I'm going to go for it."
Mrs May has said she will resign once MPs back her Brexit deal.
A decision on her exit timetable will now take place after the House of Commons votes on her Brexit bill early next month.
Sir Graham Brady, chairman of the 1922 Committee of backbench Conservative MPs, made the announcement following a meeting between the prime minister and his committee's executive on Thursday. He said it would bring "greater clarity" to Mrs May's intentions.

They must share the pain coming their way.

Just as it wasn't last time Labour were in too long. With our 2 party system it does no good when either side gets more than 2 terms. But then I probably would say that as I am probably the definition of a center voter, neither particularly left nor right.

It doesn't really matter Stuart. Who is going to believe a Tory Manifesto again? Who will listen to their false promises? Same with Labour I'm afraid. It's time to demolish the two party system.

Well the Tory leadership contenders fill me with little hope of anything.
Out of all of them Rory Stewart is the best i have heard from, but he is clearly far too sensible and if he was in the final 2 there is literally zero chance of him winning against one of the lunatics, charlatans or thickos like Leadsom, Johnson, Gove or Raab

Gove - geography, Raab - art (performance art), Boris - Assemby hall. Rory Stewart does seem the most sensible. I find him rather uncomfortable to look at though. Like the mummified husk of a man.

Stewart was one of May's biggest supporters. He has no chance. In fact, none of the current Cabinet should even be considered. Politics in the UK is changing. The old ways are obselete.
