So, the official list is: Environment Secretary Michael Gove Health Secretary Matt Hancock Former Chief Whip Mark Harper Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt Home Secretary Sajid Javid Former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson Former Leader of the House Andrea Leadsom Former Work and Pensions Secretary Esther McVey Former Brexit Secretary Dominic Raab International Development Secretary Rory Stewart Crystal ball time, I think Andrea Leadsom and Mark Harper will be first to go. As the drug issues have backfired, Gove will either drop out or will be eliminated about half way. McVey probably about this time too as will Raab and Stewart. Final two will be from Hunt, Javid, Hancock and Johnson. Got 3 out of 4 right, fair play to Gove for getting this far, Hancock jumping ship to join the list of potential Chancellors Boris Johnson has promised the job to (allegedly).

I think we all knew we were going to end up with Boris v Gove/Hunt.
Somewhat apt if it is Johnson v Gove and them being 'ring leaders' of the Leave Campaign and all.
Rory Stewart has certainly upped his profile though. Arguably in the best place to be the next, next Tory Leader should BREXIT go tits up and Boris/Gove are ousted and the Tories lose an election

Stewart was used as the 'usful idiot'. Johnson supporters voted for him to remove Rabb, as Rabb was the only other true Brexiteer. Plus, once Rabb was out his voters would probably switch to Johnson. Did you not notice how the Stewart vote collapsed after Rabb was out?

Did you not notice how the Stewart vote collapsed after Rabb was out? That may well be right, but we will never know. I actually think that Johnson is the useful idiot in this farce. A malleable idiot who can do the will of the unelectable ERG wing of the party.

I heard it was Mark Francoise & Bill Cash. It turns out they are illiterate, whilst they are capable of drawing a cross they couldn't read where to place it on the ballot paper.

Boris is a ticking time bomb.
He just can't behave himself or take anything seriously.
He's clearly a very intelligent chap, but acts like the classroom clown given the slightest opportunity.
I think he'll be a disaster as PM once the power goes to his head.

Rather telling actually

Absolutely. Laughably, his resistance to answering straightforward questions reminds us of quite a few on here.

No that it will probably matter, but it seems Boris 'non-backing' of Sir Kim Darroch has puched Sir Kim to resign
water poor from the likely next PM

water poor from the likely next PM I think that is just a smokescreen. The bloke had to resign after Trump said he wouldn't have anything to do with him. No point in being the Ambassador if the locals won't speak to you is there! He is unlucky. The memo he sent was no different to any that get sent to the UK from Ambassador's around the world. The wording of the memo was water poor, and he didn't say anything that hasn't already been said on CNN etc. The real crime is the leaking of it. Someone in the Foreign Office/Civil Service has committed a crime. The CS are meant to be politically neutral and discretion is expected of the CS. Someone at the top of government has to lay down the law and start sacking people in the CS. The bloke was unlucky, but he really did have to resign. Then again..... "In one of the most sensitive documents, Sir Kim writes: 'We don't really believe this Administration is going to become substantially more normal; less dysfunctional; less unpredictable; less faction riven; less diplomatically clumsy and inept.' He also says that he doesn't think Trump's White House will 'ever look competent'." - That could also have been written about May's government !

Ha ha ha, what a w**ker. Andrew Neil has ruthlessly exposed Boris Johnson as a phoney and a fraud. But it won't make any difference flip.it/2HJ_ZH
